Tom Hardy feels humiliated by questions about sexuality

Tom Hardy, a famous actor, has recently revealed the discomfort he experiences when faced with invasive questions about his personal life and sexuality from the media.

He spoke out about this issue after a disturbing line of questioning during the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.

Hardy has described these attempts as “humiliating” and “awkward.”

Hardy began his acting career in the early 2000s and achieved moderate success through his performances in many dramatic films and TV movies.

However, it was his role in Christopher Nolan’s 2010 film Inception that brought him widespread acclaim and attention in America.

As Hardy gave more interviews, a narrative about his personality and professional story began to form.

Regarding his pursuit of acting, Hardy explained that he had “always been a liar, always been able to manipulate,” and that acting felt like a good fit for those traits.

Despite his openness about his struggles, Hardy expressed his disapproval when the questions turned personal.

He had no problem discussing his professional aspects but was uncomfortable talking about his personal life.

Hardy had various s**ual encounters and opened up in 2010 about his s**ual fluidity by answering a question about whether he had slept with men.

He expressed his irritation over being asked such personal questions, but by 2015, he was fed up with the inquiries.

According to Time, during a news conference at the Toronto International Film Festival, a reporter from the LGBTQ outlet Daily Xtra asked Hardy, “Is it hard for celebrities to talk to the media about their sexuality?” After confirming that the journalist was asking about his sexuality, Hardy ended the questioning with “thank you.”

“It was just the inelegance of being asked in a roomful of people,” Hardy told Entertainment Weekly a few days later.

“Now I’m happy to have a conversation, a discussion, at a reasonable time about anything.

“But there is a time and a place for that.”

Hardy regarded the incident as “humiliating” and “awkward” because it had nothing to do with his appearance at the festival.

Hardy starred in The Revenant (2015) and Dunkirk (2017), two projects with director Christopher Nolan, and had a recurring role in Netflix’s Peaky Blinders.

He has also starred as the title character in two Venom films.

When Hardy’s Venom showed up in Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans began speculating about the character’s potential crossover into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Hardy has become a well-known actor in Hollywood and has gained a significant following of fans.

Hardy’s openness about his struggles with drug use and partying throughout his 20s has drawn attention to his bad-boy past.

However, after meeting his future wife on the Wuthering Heights set in 2009, he settled down, and his past seemed to be behind him.
