The Queen Invited Meghan and Prince Harry to join her for church
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly joined Queen Elizabeth at church on Sunday, ahead of their final engagement with the royal family.
Photos, which appear on People’s website, show Meghan sporting a fascinator-type hairpiece, a black and white dress, and circular statement earrings for services. For her part, Her Majesty was dressed in shades of lavender and light blue, and wore pearls and a brimmed hat with a flower detail.
“The Queen personally invited Harry and Meghan to join her for the service,” a royal source tells BAZAAR. “She has continuously made sure that they feel welcome and loved.”
“Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved members of my family,” she added.
“I want to thank them for all their dedicated work across this country, the Commonwealth and beyond, and am particularly proud of how Meghan has so quickly become one of the family. It is my whole family’s hope that today’s agreement allows them to start building a happy and peaceful new life.”

Buckingham Palace does not typically comment on private visits made by the royal family. The palace did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Insider.
“It was a really sweet gesture that the Queen asked them to church,” a source told People of the invitation. “It’s telling in the sense that these two are still her family. And as a family, they all love each other.”
This could indicate that the couple could be planning to spend more time in the UK after “Megxit” is finalized in April.
