Sussexes in Danger of Bankruptcy After Losing $20 Million Podcast Deal

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are reportedly in danger of bankruptcy after losing their $20 million podcast deal with Spotify.

According to TV host Peter Stefanovich, who predicted the couple’s financial woes, the information about the million-dollar contract was just a PR game for the Sussexes, who are carrying millions of dollars in debt.

Stefanovich also criticized Harry for his controversial memoir, in which he made explosive claims about his brother William.

The Sky News host called the book “atrocious” and accused Harry of “hanging his brother out to dry.”

Despite the loss of the podcast deal, the Sussexes still make a lot of money, but for how long?

In his memoir, Harry branded William his arch nemesis and revealed his bitter frustrations over his role as the spare to William, who was the heir.

Harry also accused William of physically attacking him and claimed that the palace planted negative stories about Meghan in the media.

During an interview with Good Morning America in January, Harry admitted that there had always been competition between him and William, which he blamed on their respective positions in the line of succession.

The Sussexes’ Archetypes podcast will not be renewed for a second season, according to a joint statement released by the couple and Spotify.

However, Bill Simmons, head of podcast innovation and monetization at Spotify, condemned the couple in an episode of his own podcast, calling them “grifters.”

He also revealed that the Sussexes had approached him for help with their podcast idea.

The Sussex Royal Foundation was supposed to transfer funds to a non-profit organization, but it only transferred £134,500 of the £213,000 due.

The debt is estimated to be around £8 million.

Despite breaking with the royal family, the couple continued to receive funds from Prince Charles until mid-2020.

Prince Harry has been criticized in Britain for his hypocrisy, as he participates in charity campaigns and expresses concern about climate change while traveling by private jet, which emits tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

In conclusion, the Sussexes are facing financial difficulties after losing their lucrative podcast deal with Spotify.

Despite making a lot of money, they are reportedly carrying millions of dollars in debt.

Harry’s controversial memoir has also caused public backlash, as he made explosive claims about his brother William and accused the palace of planting negative stories about Meghan.

The couple’s financial woes are expected to continue, especially as they still owe a significant amount of money to a non-profit organization.
