Princess Kate Delighted as She Embraces David Beckham During Earthshot Prize Ceremony
The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, showed her excitement as she warmly hugged football legend David Beckham during her and Prince William’s trip to Boston.
The couple was hosting the Earthshot Prize ceremony, and Princess Kate, aged 40, greeted Beckham with a kiss on the cheek backstage at the MGM Music Hall.
Prince William, too, seemed pleased to see his longtime acquaintance as he made a surprise appearance at the awards show last Friday.
The pair exchanged greetings and shook hands, displaying their camaraderie.
Beckham, who arrived in Boston with a police escort in a hybrid car, was among the notable guests at the event.

Beckham has had a longstanding association with the royal family, particularly with Prince William, who has served as the president of the England Football Association for over 15 years.
The 47-year-old footballer looked dashing in a tuxedo and mingled with other high-profile figures before presenting one of the awards later that evening.
The star-studded event also saw the presence of other notable personalities, including Ellie Goulding, Rami Malek from James Bond, and upcoming Little Mermaid actress Hal Bailey.
This appearance by Beckham adds to his already packed schedule, as he has been jetting around the world in recent weeks.
In November, he attended several World Cup matches while acting as an ambassador for Qatar in a controversial £10m deal with the nation.
He even missed a match to support his wife Victoria during her work Christmas party in Mayfair.
The couple was seen leaving the store together, wearing matching black outfits.
At the Earthshot Prize ceremony, Beckham surprised the audience by presenting the Build a Waste-Free World award to British-based startup Napla for its innovative seaweed-based recyclable packaging.
However, it was Princess Kate who stole the show with her stunning debut in a rented neon green dress from online designer HURR.
She walked down the green carpet, greeting guests and radiating elegance.
The Earthshot Prize event was touted as one of the most sustainable ever televised, with a total of five awards distributed, each worth £1m.
The winners included a female-led effort to train indigenous rangers in Australia and a portable greenhouse-in-a-box firm that aims to boost harvests in India.
In conclusion, the Earthshot Prize ceremony was a star-studded affair, with Princess Kate’s warm embrace of David Beckham stealing the spotlight.
