Princess Anne raised concerns about Archie’s skin color, Royal expert claims
Although Princess Diana’s BBC Panorama interview is regarded as a watershed moment in royal history, Meghan and Harry’s latest sit-down with Oprah may have overshadowed that of her late mother-in-law.
The ex-royals revealed everything to the TV host during the 90-minute event. At first, Meghan was the only one who sat down with her long-time mate, making bold comments
It all began with the former actress saying that a long-running rumor that she made Kate Middleton weep over a flowergirl dress was false, claiming that it was the other way around.
The dialog grew more awkward when the former Duchess talked of her harrowing mental health struggle, and Prince Harry finally entered to address his estranged relationship with his brother William.
Despite all of these disclosures, Meghan’s assertion that “concerns and conversations over how dark (her son Archie’s) skin could be before he was born” was the most significant accusation to emerge from the activity.

Since then, the media has wondered as to who may have made this heinous comment. And now, at long last, the finger has been pointed.
Lady Colin Campbell, a 71-year-old British socialite who has written many books on the British Royal Family, claims Princess Anne was the one who asked about Archie’s complexion.
The royal expert said in the new episode of her podcast “Chatting With Lady C” that the explosive announcement was the product of the sole daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
Campbell further explained the comments as the product of a “misunderstanding” of the disparities between the British and American citizens. The author reported that “there were no concerns about Meghan’s color.”
“Princess Anne was rightly concerned that if the marriage proceeded and there were children there would be huge problems, not because of Meghan’s colour, but because of Meghan’s inability and determination to remain unable to appreciate the cultural differences,” the socialite said.
Princess Anne, according to Campbell, was one of the first to object to Harry and Meghan’s marriage on the basis of “behavior and character.” She went on to say that three people informed her that Anne’s concerns were “twisted.”
