Prince Harry’s Possible Return: A Royal Reunion in the Making?

The buzz surrounding Prince Harry’s potential attendance at his father’s upcoming coronation is growing louder.

As the event approaches, many are speculating on how the royal family will navigate this delicate situation, especially given the rocky relations between the Sussexes and the rest of the royals.

Royal expert Camilla Tomey, writing for the Telegraph, suggests that if Harry decides to make the trip back to the UK, it will fall to Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales, to extend a friendly olive branch.

She emphasizes that the royal family must present a united front, making Harry feel included in their security arrangements over the bank holiday weekend.

This would help alleviate any complaints regarding his safety during the event.

Tomey also points out that King Charles will be preoccupied with the coronation itself, leaving William and Kate to take on the responsibility of ensuring Harry feels welcomed.

She recalls the joint appearance the brothers made after the death of Queen Elizabeth, suggesting we might witness a similar gesture during the coronation festivities.

On the flip side, royal author Tom Bower has voiced strong opposition to Harry and Meghan’s attendance.

He argues that their presence could overshadow the significance of the event, claiming that public interest in the couple has waned.

Bower even went so far as to label King Charles a “weak man” for being overly concerned about Harry’s feelings leading up to the ceremony.

Bower’s tongue-in-cheek suggestion?

If Harry insists on attending, he should be seated in a less prominent location—perhaps “row Q, seat 54,” partially obscured by a column.

His reasoning is that this would send a clear message to Harry while allowing the coronation to proceed without distraction.

As invitations for the coronation are expected to roll out soon, reports indicate that both Harry and Meghan will likely receive theirs.

However, whether they will actually show up remains uncertain.

Their relocation to the United States, coupled with the release of Harry’s memoir and their Netflix documentary, has only added fuel to the fire of their strained relationship with the royal family.

Interestingly, Buckingham Palace is reportedly preparing for the possibility of Harry’s brief visit to the UK.

There are whispers that he may make a quick trip while Meghan stays back in California to celebrate their son Archie’s fourth birthday, which coincides with the coronation.

With the big day fast approaching, all eyes will be on how the royal family handles this potential reunion.

Will they embrace the spirit of reconciliation, as Tomey suggests, or will they heed Bower’s advice and maintain some distance?

As the countdown begins, the world watches closely, eager to see how this royal saga unfolds.

The dynamics at play promise to make for an intriguing spectacle, and many are left wondering if this could be a turning point for the Sussexes and the rest of the family.
