Prince Harry Faces Backlash in the US Over First Amendment Comments
Prince Harry is facing mounting criticism in the United States after his recent comments about the First Amendment.
The Duke of Sussex sparked outrage among prominent American figures when he described the constitutional right to freedom of speech as “bonkers.”
Sky News Australia host Chris Kenny argued that Americans value their freedom more than unsolicited advice from the British royal.
During a podcast interview, Prince Harry expressed his thoughts on the First Amendment, stating, “I’ve got so much I want to say about it as I sort of understand it, but it is bonkers.”
In response, Chris Kenny remarked on Sky News Australia, “I think Harry might be overstaying his welcome now.

The Americans love star power and celebrity, but they also cherish their freedom.
They don’t take kindly to unsolicited advice from the British Royals, considering they fought a war to escape it.”
Kenny further pointed out the irony in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s pursuit of privacy in California while engaging in high-profile ventures such as signing movie deals and participating in interviews and podcasts.
He concluded by saying, “Each to their own, I guess.”
Many viewers agreed with Kenny’s assessment, expressing their embarrassment whenever Prince Harry speaks.
One viewer commented, “In British, there aren’t enough words to describe how embarrassed I feel every time Harry opens his mouth.
Markle criticizes Britain, and Harry criticizes the US.
They truly are a matched couple.”
Fox News panelist Jesse Watters responded to Harry’s criticism of the First Amendment with a joke, saying, “If he thinks the First Amendment is bonkers, wait until he hears about the second.”
Watters also questioned why Prince Harry is speaking so much, suggesting he should keep his opinions to himself.
Lee Cohen, an expert on Anglo-American affairs for the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee, criticized the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for tarnishing the reputation of the Royal Family during their interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Cohen warned that the couple’s fairy tale image is fading in the US, as Americans begin to turn against them.
Fox News host Sean Hannity joined the chorus of criticism, labeling Harry as the “Prince of Woke social justice warriors.”
