Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Face Private Agreement with King for Future Royal Residences

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now required to negotiate a private agreement with the King if they wish to stay at any Royal residences in the future.

The couple, who previously resided at Frogmore Cottage, recently returned their keys to the Monarch, leaving them without a Royal home in the UK for potential visits.

According to reports, their belongings were removed from the property nearly six months after they received an eviction notice, coinciding with the release of Prince Harry’s controversial memoir, “Spare.”

As a result, should they decide to return to the UK, the couple will find themselves without a permanent residence and will likely have to rely on close family or friends, or book a hotel during their visits, as reported by the Mirror.

The Sun has now revealed that the Sussexes would need to come to an agreement with King Charles and obtain his permission to stay at any Royal residences following their departure from the UK.

The outlet suggests that tensions within the family have escalated since the release of their highly successful Netflix docuseries, “Harry and Meghan,” and Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir, “Spare.”

Shortly after the publication of Prince Harry’s book in January, the Royal couple received an eviction notice for Frogmore Cottage from the King.

Their remaining possessions were subsequently shipped to their home in California, and it appears that the property will be rented out after their departure.

Sir Michael Stevens, a courtier, confirmed the couple’s departure from Frogmore Cottage, emphasizing the significant renovations that had taken place over the years and the enhanced value it now holds for the Crown.

According to reports, Frogmore Cottage is not the only vacant Royal residence, as King Charles has been tightening budgets and several other properties remain unoccupied.

The monarch is reportedly engaged in an ongoing feud with his disgraced brother, Prince Andrew, whom he has ordered to vacate Royal Lodge in Windsor, where he resides with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.

However, Prince Andrew has refused to comply with the monarch’s demands, as he reportedly signed a 75-year lease on the property when he first moved in 20 years ago.

Prince Harry and Meghan’s controversial Netflix series, consisting of six episodes, premiered in December of last year.

The Duke of Sussex’s memoir, “Spare,” also garnered significant attention upon its release in January, breaking Guinness World Records as the fastest-selling non-fiction book in the UK.

The couple’s actions and projects have continued to captivate public interest, prompting discussions and debates among their followers.
