Olivia Wilde felt like her “v*gina died”

Actress Olivia Wilde is well-known in Hollywood for her roles in films such as Tron: Legacy, Cowboys & Aliens, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, and The Lazarus Effect.

However, she has also made headlines for her personal relationships with Jason Sudeikis and Harry Styles.

In 2012, Wilde spoke candidly about her marriage to her then-husband Tao Ruspoli, admitting that she had felt as though her “vgina died” during their relationship.

During a night of monologues hosted by Glamour, the actress shared with the audience, “I felt like my vgina died. Turned off. Lights out.”

“And you can lie to your relatives at Christmas dinner and tell them everything on the home front is just peachy. But you cannot lie to your v*gina.”

She went on to advise other women to be aware of their sexuality in relationships, saying, “Sometimes your vagina dies. Then you know it’s time to go.”

“There’s no reason to sacrifice your womanhood and femininity for some sort of weird feeling of responsibility for something that may not be right.”

“I feel like far too many women do that… [Men] are not allowed to be the only ones thinking with their genitals. We think with our p***ies.”

Wilde also mentioned her then-boyfriend, actor Jason Sudeikis, who was in the audience, saying, “We have s*x like Kenyan marathon runners” and that she was “blissfully, hopefully, wildly in love” with him.

The actress has always been vocal about her opinions, whether it be on the coronavirus pandemic or her frustration with criticism of her parenting.

However, her candid remarks on her s*x life following her divorce from Ruspoli were particularly noteworthy.

Last year, Wilde made headlines once again with her breakup from Harry Styles after dating for nearly two years.

It seems that the actress continues to be open and honest about her personal life, a trait that has endeared her to many fans.
