Meghan Markle’s Rude Behavior Exposed by Archetypes Guest Andy Cohen

In a recent episode of Archetypes, Andy Cohen, a former guest on the show, criticized Meghan Markle’s rude attitude towards guests.

He confirmed that the fake interview conducted with her was completely true and that she always acts lazy.

Cohen’s comments came after the Duchess of Sussex criticized the Real Housewives franchise, which he produces, for spreading negative stereotypes of women in her Archetypes monologue.

However, she did not address these allegations directly to Cohen, limiting his opportunity to respond.

Cohen appeared surprised to hear the comments when the podcast episode finally aired, though he did say that Meghan was lovely in person.

The criticism comes in the aftermath of Meghan and Prince Harry’s collapsed Spotify deal, which raised questions about the use of producers to conduct less prominent interviews on the show.

In his book, The Daddy Diaries, Cohen wrote, “Megan Markle’s podcast came out, and it was interesting to see how they produced it.

She narrates it, which is an effective device, especially if you’re cutting an hour down to 20 minutes, which she did.

However, in that narration, she talks about what a tough conversation this was for her, mentioning that she has conflicting feelings about the Housewives.

I think it was interesting that she said in the narration but didn’t discuss it with me head-on.

Wouldn’t that have made a far more dynamic conversation?”

During her podcast narration, Meghan expressed her conflicted feelings about the Real Housewives franchise, saying, “I’m conflicted about this, not about Cohen’s success, his rightfully deserved success, but on what his success specifically with the franchise has been based off of.

Because as we grapple this season with what archetypes are and how limiting they are, on the flip side of that is, are we exploring giving women the space and allowance to be exactly who they are as complicated, layered, challenging, funny, silly people?

Or in a franchise like Housewives, are we fueling the fire of archetypes by creating caricatures of women?”

Meghan played a clip of an argument about cheating from the Real Housewives of New Jersey and groaned afterward, saying, “Oh my gosh, oh man, this is a tough one for me.”

She expressed her mixed feelings about the show’s portrayal of women and the role it might play in perpetuating negative stereotypes.

Before the revelations about Meghan’s interviews, a report alleged that some of the show’s interviews were not conducted by her.

Pod News reported that members of the Duchess’s staff conducted some of the interviews, and her voice asking the questions was clipped in afterward.

Representatives for Meghan and Archival Audio have yet to comment on the report.

The revelations came shortly after Spotify and Archival announced their mutual decision to part ways, saying they were proud of the series they made together.

A source previously told the post that the Archival Media company launched by Harry and Meghan did not produce enough content to receive the full payout of the $20 million deal they agreed to in 2020.

Despite the collapsed deal, Meghan is continuing to develop more content for the Archetypes audience on another platform, according to an Archival Productions spokesperson who spoke to the Wall Street Journal.

However, sports writer and podcaster Bill Simmons slammed the couple in the wake of the fractured deal, calling them both grifters in Friday’s episode of his namesake podcast.
