Meghan Markle Faces Massive Bills as Luxury Brands Cut Ties for Allegedly Misusing Invictus’ Name

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their first joint appearance at the 2022 Invictus Games in The Hague, Netherlands, marking their first trip together since stepping down as senior members of the Royal Family in 2020.

The Invictus Games, founded by Harry in 2014, holds a special place in their hearts.

Back in 2017, the couple made their debut at the Games, with Meghan capturing attention in distressed denim and a white button-up shirt by Pal Mishanonu.

Now, five years later, Meghan is showcasing her post-Royal style at the same event.

However, Meghan’s wardrobe choices for the Invictus Games appearances have come with a hefty price tag.

Luxury brands such as Aquazura, Cartier, Salin, Manolo, Blanique, Ralph Lauren, and Valentino have all severed ties with the Duchess, claiming she owes them a significant amount of money.

It has been alleged that Meghan used funds from Netflix and veteran donations for the Heart of Invictus movie project, but it seems that was not enough to cover her expenses.

The information regarding her financial situation was leaked by several Netflix employees.

The 2022 Invictus Games also highlighted how the event has become more about Meghan and Harry rather than its original purpose.

Daily Mail reports that Meghan and Harry even engaged in a friendly game of table tennis during the Games.

A trailer for the upcoming Invictus Games in Dusseldorf in September 2023 featured athletes who will be participating in the event.

The video was shared on social media to promote ticket sales, and it was quickly reposted by Omid Scobie, co-writer of the book “Finding Freedom.”

While the Sussexes are set to make an appearance at the Games, there are concerns about Meghan’s intentions.

It appears that she seeks to be seen as much as possible, often drawing attention to herself rather than the athletes.

Despite the noble cause of the Invictus Games, it may not attract a large viewership, and Meghan’s presence seems to be solely for self-promotion.

It was believed that Meghan and Harry would become a billion-dollar brand, but they failed to capitalize on their fame.

Instead of using their platform to highlight American charities and engage in meaningful projects, they squandered opportunities and complained about their financial situation.

Sky News contributor Megyn Kelly criticized Meghan, calling her “pathetic” after Spotify canceled the second season of her Archetypes podcast.

Kelly highlighted Meghan’s inability to complete even 12 episodes without complaining, stating that she could have done so in just two weeks.

The biggest concern raised was the accusation of fraud, with Kelly claiming that Meghan was artificial and over the top as a podcast host.

In conclusion, Meghan Markle finds herself facing mounting bills as luxury brands sever ties with her for allegedly misusing the Invictus name.

While she and Prince Harry continue to make appearances at the Invictus Games, there are doubts about Meghan’s intentions and her ability to shift the focus away from herself.

The couple’s failure to capitalize on their fame and engage in meaningful projects has drawn criticism, with Meghan’s podcast cancellation and accusations of fraud adding to the scrutiny surrounding her actions.
