Meghan and Harry Should “Go Away and Go Silent” After Podcasting Relationship with Spotify Collapses, Says BLM Activist

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have been accused of using their claim of racism as a tool to win public support.

Imran Aydar, a social commentator and anti-racism activist, made the accusation during a debate on Good Morning Britain.

Aydar, who was instrumental in organizing Black Lives Matter protests in the UK in 2020, criticized the couple for their alleged use of race and suggested that they should “go away and go silent” after their podcasting relationship with Spotify collapsed last week.

Bill Simmons, Spotify’s head of podcast innovation and monetization, had launched a scathing attack on the couple, calling them “grifters” and suggesting that they used their public image to make money.

Aydar echoed this criticism, citing the couple’s self-disputed claim during their 2020 interview with Oprah Winfrey that a member of the royal family made racist comments about the color of their future children.

Aydar accused the couple of using black people as a weapon and a tool when they needed support.

She said that they brought the black community on a journey with them, only to dump them at the end.

“They used us,” she said.

Aydar suggested that the couple should have continued to talk about racism and support the black community, instead of using them for their own gain.

Jack Royston, Newsweek’s chief royal correspondent, added that there was perhaps a way for the couple to rehabilitate their public image if they chose a different path.

Royston acknowledged that the couple’s projects had garnered a lot of attention and made money for Spotify and Netflix, but suggested that they needed to ditch the negative message and stop complaining.

He suggested that the couple should return to the old school royal playbook by attending charity events and looking fantastic.

However, Aydar disagreed, saying that the couple needed to “go away” and “go silent.”

She suggested that they had gotten themselves into this mess by talking about themselves for three years, while simultaneously claiming that they wanted privacy.

Aydar accused the couple of using their public image to make money, and suggested that they should take a break from the public eye.

Aydar also accused Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of lying, following their recent media appearances in which they denied accusing the royal family of racism in their interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.

Prince Harry had said that the royal family were guilty of unconscious bias in reference to the claim, but did not name the member of the family who made the comments.

The comments made by Aydar and Royston reflect the growing criticism of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s public image, particularly in the wake of the collapse of their podcasting relationship with Spotify.

The couple has been accused of using their public image to make money and of using race as a tool to win public support.

However, despite the criticism, polls suggest that public opinion in America is starting to swing back in their favor.

In conclusion, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have faced criticism from anti-racism activists and social commentators for allegedly using their claim of racism as a tool to win public support.

The collapse of their podcasting relationship with Spotify has only added to the criticism, with some accusing the couple of using their public image to make money.

While there may be a way for the couple to rehabilitate their public image, some suggest that they need to take a break from the public eye and go silent for a while.
