Matthew McConaughey’s mum refused to cover dad’s n-ked body to flaunt his package
Matthew McConaughey has explained his dad’s dying during s-x with his mother, claiming that his body had to be transported from the house n-ked because his mother refused to let the paramedic wrap him up.
In his newly released memoir Greenlights, the Dallas Buyers Club star discusses his parents’ relationship, painting them as “the Pacific Ocean in a storm.”
McConaughey’s parents divorced twice and married three times, but despite their turbulent relationship, his father, James, swore that he and his mother, Kay, would die together.
He stated emphatically that he would die while ‘making love’ to his wife.

McConaughey says that he ‘had a heart attack when he climaxed’ during s-x one day, proving that James correctly foretold his death.
He told People: ‘I got a call from my mum: “Your dad died”. My knees buckled. I couldn’t believe it. He was my dad. Nobody or nothing could kill him. Except mum.
‘He’d always told me and my brothers, “Boys, when I go, I’m gonna be makin’ love to your mother.” And that’s what happened. He had a heart attack when he climaxed.’
McConaughey shared the elements of the narrative he didn’t include in the book, such as his mother refusing to let his father’s body be covered up and carried out of the house so he could show off his manhood one more time.
According to the WTF with Marc Maron podcast, the Hollywood celebrity said: “I found out later that when the ambulance came to get him at the house, obviously all the neighbours came out on the street.
“They came and told me later that my mum, in her negligee nightie that she had woke up in, wouldn’t let the paramedics cover him.
“She kept ripping the sheet off going: ‘Uh-uh, I want the world to see why his nickname was Big Jim, don’t you cover him.”
McConaughey discusses being “blackmailed” into s-x as a teenager in other parts of the book.
He wrote: “I was blackmailed into having s-x for the first time when I was 15.
“I was certain I was going to hell for the premarital s-x.
“Today, I am merely certain that I hope that’s not the case.”
He added: ‘I was molested by a man when I was 18 while knocked unconscious in the back of a van.’
