Kate Middleton Teaches Her Kids the Value of Money

In a delightful display of parenting, Kate Middleton was spotted shopping with her children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as they wrapped up their Easter break.

The outing took place at a London store on King’s Road, where the shop owner, Alexa, shared her excitement about the royal visit on Twitter.

She expressed her admiration for Kate, noting how well-behaved the children were and how they engaged with one another.

According to Alexa, the young royals had a budget they adhered to during their shopping spree.

It’s refreshing to see kids, even those in the spotlight, learning about financial responsibility.

They paid for their own items using their own money, showcasing a lesson in budgeting that many parents strive to instill in their children.

“Just normal well-brought-up children and a normal parent trying to do the right thing,” Alexa remarked, emphasizing the wholesome nature of the outing.

Kate, who is 39 years old, often includes her children in these everyday activities.

This isn’t the first time she has been seen shopping with them.

Back in 2019, she took George and Charlotte to their local Sainsbury’s supermarket in Norfolk, near their family home, Amner Hall.

During that trip, a local resident named Kathy Whittaker spotted the royal family browsing the Halloween section.

Whittaker recounted how Kate interacted with her children, asking them about their Halloween costumes.

While she didn’t catch a glimpse of what exactly Kate purchased, it was evident that the royal mom was just like any other parent, focused on making fun memories with her kids.

Prince Louis, the youngest of the trio, also joined in on the family shopping escapades.

Just days before his third birthday, he accompanied Kate and his older siblings on another trip to Sainsbury’s.

On that occasion, Kate picked up an enchilada dinner kit, proving that even royals have to prepare dinner sometimes.

Local mom Kate Carter commented on the normalcy of the situation, stating that nothing seemed out of the ordinary during their shopping outing.

The children were well-behaved, and the entire experience felt relatable.

However, she also acknowledged the uniqueness of having a royal in their midst, adding, “It was all so normal, but she’s not normal.”

The royal family recently faced a somber moment with the passing of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Kate, Prince William, and other family members attended his funeral, which was a poignant occasion for them all.
