Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki, who played Penny and Leonard on the hit show “The Big Bang Theory”, were a real-life couple early on in the series.

Cuoco recently spoke about their relationship and filming awkward s-x scenes together on the show during an interview with Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast.

Cuoco revealed that she and Galecki fell “madly in love” for two years before they broke up. She also mentioned that despite their breakup, the two actors remain close friends.

“Johnny and I came out of it so brilliantly and we’re closer today than we ever were,” Cuoco said.

However, Cuoco also spoke about the challenges of filming s-x scenes with an ex-partner.

She revealed that the show’s creator Chuck Lorre wrote a lot of s-x scenes between Penny and Leonard after she and Galecki had broken up in real life. Cuoco said she believes Lorre wrote these scenes specifically to “troll” the two actors.

“When we broke up, it was obviously a little sensitive for a minute, but I remember those weeks that Chuck had written these episodes where all of a sudden our characters were like sleeping together every other second,” Cuoco recalled.

“Johnny and I talk about it and I think [Chuck] did that on purpose just to f*** with us. Because that came out of nowhere. All of a sudden these characters were all up on each other.”

Despite the challenges they faced while filming, Cuoco and Galecki have managed to maintain a close friendship.

The two actors frequently engage in friendly banter on social media, with Galecki recently joking that he was too busy to pay attention to Cuoco’s new show.

Cuoco has a new series called “The Flight Attendant” that she is promoting on her Instagram show “Cup of Cuoco”.

She teased that she will be revealing secrets from the show in the coming days.

Cuoco wrote: “Tomorrow and Tuesday, I am very excited – I will be dropping tons of Flight Attendant information. Yeah lots.”
