Jason Momoa strips, bares behind on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’: WATCH

Jason Momoa was a guest on Wednesday night’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” and he certainly made an impression on the audience.

The 43-year-old actor arrived on the show dressed in a costume for his upcoming Netflix film “Slumberland,” which consisted of purple satin pajamas and a pink velvet coat with shiny embellishments.

However, Momoa quickly stripped out of the vibrant outfit in favor of showing off his traditional Hawaiian malo.

Momoa explained the reasoning behind his choice of clothing, saying, “I’m doing a show. I’m a creator and writer and director and producer on this Apple series called Chief of War and it’s all 1780s, 1790s Hawaii.”

“That’s what I wear every day. I was just getting ready for the role and I like to get into character and so I was tanning my white a**.”

It seems that Momoa is a big fan of the minimal look, as he stated, “I actually don’t even like wearing clothes anymore. I’m in it every day. I wear it all the time.”

Kimmel couldn’t resist asking the actor if he was currently wearing the traditional Hawaiian garment under his clothes, to which Momoa replied, “Of course.”

He then stood up and stripped off his clothes, revealing his bare chest and a glimpse of his bare butt as he pulled down his pants to show off the full malo.

Kimmel joked about the sight, saying, “Let me tell you, I never felt more like Danny DeVito than I do right now.”

In addition to his appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Momoa also attended the premiere of “Slumberland”.

While speaking with ET at the event, he revealed that he had adopted a pet pig while filming in Hawaii.

When asked why he didn’t bring the adorable animal to the premiere, Momoa explained, “Oh, he’s in Hawaii! He’s a wild boar, so I couldn’t bring him with me. I think it would’ve been pretty gnarly though.”

“Slumberland” tells the story of a young girl who discovers a secret map to the dream world of Slumberland.

With the help of an eccentric outlaw played by Momoa, she travels through dreams and avoids nightmares in the hope of seeing her deceased father again.

It’s clear that Momoa is excited for the release, as he demonstrated by showing off his traditional Hawaiian clothing on national television and speaking about the film at its premiere.
