Actor Jason Momoa recently made headlines for his fashion choice during a fishing trip with friends.

Momoa was seen wearing a thong-style loin cloth, revealing his butt in the process. The actor documented the outing on his Instagram account, sharing a series of images with his followers.

One image showed a rainbow over the ocean, while another featured a large fish that Momoa caught.

In a video from the fishing trip, Momoa can be seen showing off his backside as he reels in a catch.

His friends, however, were dressed in more traditional beachwear. Despite the attention-grabbing fashion choice, Momoa seemed focused on the task at hand, as he captioned one of the images, “Sunday funday.”

The 43-year-old actor has recently made other headlines as well. Just last month, Momoa was spotted boarding a plane to New Zealand, where he is reportedly set to begin production on his new Apple TV+ series, Chief of War.

The show is expected to follow an epic telling of the unification and colonization of Hawaii from an indigenous point of view.

In addition to his acting career, Momoa has also used his platform to raise awareness about important issues.

Most recently, he drew attention to the negative impact of single-use plastics on the environment by dramatically changing his appearance.

Momoa shaved the sides of his signature long locks and debuted a tribal tattoo on the side of his head.

In his Instagram post from the fishing trip, Momoa also mentioned that he would be enjoying “dried aku all week.” It’s unclear what exactly aku is, but it appears to be a type of fish.
