Harry and Meghan will be ‘ditched’ by Prince Charles in monarchy plans
A royal biographer has stated that Prince Charles could drop Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the Royal Family because he wants to “slim down” the monarchy after becoming king.
In an interview with talkRADIO, royal biographer Angela Levin explained how Prince Charles plans to “ditch” Meghan and Harry from the royal family in order to reduce the firm’s size.
Despite the Queen’s need to hold the “outer edges” of the family united and resist transition, Ms Levin believes Charles can go through with his plans.
“Prince Charles has wanted for a very long time to cut the monarchy down to save costs and to make people be worth the money that they got from the taxpayer,” she said.
“I imagine that might be when Harry and Meghan are ditched from being members of the Royal family.”

Harry and Meghan have now moved down as senior figures of the Royal Family and are financially independent having signed multi-million dollar agreements with the likes of Netflix and Spotify.
They have lost numerous royal patronages but have kept their titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex, although it’s unclear what “ditching” them from the Firm will entail.
“I think the outer edge, which the Queen has wanted to keep together for a very long time for sentimental reasons, which at her age she didn’t really particularly want change which I think is understandable,” Ms Levin explained.
“But he wants to change and I think he will do that.”
“He will also accompany the Queen,” she said. “It’s said she’s going to be there opening Parliament on May 11th and Prince Charles will be accompanying her.”
“I think although she wants to do her duties she will step back, even more, it’ll be quite hard to come back after the pandemic and all the isolation.”
According to the expert, the Duke of Cornwall will step up his royal responsibilities, and Queen Elizabeth II will no longer want to “battle Prince Charles.”
“In fact, she will be grateful for him to be taking over in making I imagine quite big decisions on behalf of the royal family.”
‘very hurt’
Prince Harry wrote a “deeply personal” letter to his father in which he promises to “respect the institution.”
Before flying back to the UK for the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral, the Duke of Sussex is reported to have made contact with his father.
According to royal sources, Harry made the decision after their relationship “hit rock bottom” after the now-famous Oprah Winfrey interview with both Harry and Meghan Markle.
In the interview, Harry accused his father of not returning his calls, which is reported to have irritated Prince Charles, further severing their relationship.
The choice by Harry and Meghan to participate in the infamous interview, which broadcast when Prince Philip was in hospital, is reported to have left the Prince of Wales “very hurt.”
