Ex-Disney Channel star charged with sending p-rno to 13-year-old girl

Former Disney star Kyle Massey has been charged with a felony in Washington state for allegedly sending explicit text messages, images, and videos to a 13-year-old girl.

Massey, best known for his role as Cory Baxter in “That’s So Raven” and “Cory in the House”, is facing a charge of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes.

The charge stems from accusations detailed in a 2019 lawsuit against Massey, which was later dismissed.

According to court documents, the plaintiff in the case met Massey at Universal Studios when she was 4 years old.

She said that she stayed in touch with Massey because she wanted to pursue a career in entertainment.

In November 2018, the girl reached out to Massey about auditioning for a role in a reboot of “Cory in the House”, and during their subsequent conversations, she informed Massey that she was in eighth grade.

The court documents allege that between December 2018 and January 2019, Massey sent the girl explicit content, knowing she was underage.

In a statement released after the lawsuit was filed in 2019, Massey denied the allegations and accused the girl’s attorneys of attempting to extort him for $1.5 million.

“No child should ever be exposed to explicit materials and I unequivocally and categorically deny any alleged misconduct,” Massey said in the statement.

“In early 2019, Plaintiff’s attorneys demanded $1.5M threatening to go public to destroy my career if I did not comply. My family and I rejected this extortion attempt, because I have faith that the legal process will reveal the truth.”

Massey, now 29, rose to fame as a child actor on Disney Channel. He first appeared on the network’s sketch comedy series “The Amanda Show” before landing the role of Cory Baxter on “That’s So Raven”.

He later starred in the spin-off series “Cory in the House”. Massey continued to act after his Disney days, appearing in several other TV shows and movies.

He has also released several albums and singles as a rapper.

The recent charges against Massey have shocked and saddened many of his fans. Many have expressed their disappointment and disgust on social media, calling for a boycott of Massey’s music and shows.

The incident has also raised questions about the way that celebrities and public figures interact with their fans, and the need for greater awareness and protection for young people.

Massey failed to show up to his arraignment on the felony charge. It is not clear if he has retained an attorney to represent him in the criminal case.
