Emma Watson Makes Rare Appearance At BAFTA Awards In A Cutout Dress

Miss Hermione Granger has won an academic medal (or two) at Hogwarts, but I’m giving Emma Watson, her real-life equivalent, the award for best dressed at the 75th annual BAFTA awards tonight.

Emma Watson wore a halter dress with a plunging neckline at the BAFTA 2022 Film Awards on Sunday afternoon. As she walked the red carpet, her black bodice was attached to a cream-colored tulle skirt that stretched into a princess train behind her. The garment in front of her displayed black pointed toe shoes with beaded ankle straps that wrapped around her legs.

Emma let her natural hair shine, but used a handful of black bobby pins along her center parting to keep any flyaways away from her face. Her pins were almost undetectable on the BAFTAs 2022 red carpet at first sight, but hair and cosmetics experts could see them a mile away.

A little white purse and stunning silver dangly earrings completed the look for the Harry Potter star.

While Emma was not nominated for any awards, she did make a rare onstage appearance to give the Outstanding British Film award. Rebel Wilson, who introduced her, stated, “Here to present the next award is Emma Watson. She calls herself a feminist, but we all know she’s a witch.” To which Emma replied, “I’m here for all of the witches.”

Emma Watson came out on Saturday night for the Charles Finch and Chanel dinner in London’s West End, which served as a warm-up for the BAFTA awards. Watson wore an all-black look with a jacket over a cutaway dress that created dynamic curves across her body. A short, high-waisted skirt and a pair of spectacular swirling black and nude thigh-high boots with heels were worn underneath.

Emma Watson is the epitome of beauty and elegance, and she is deserving of all the BAFTA awards.

Watson’s comments in the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts delighted fans in early January, when she admitted to having a huge crush on co-star Tom Felton. Watson’s Hermione Granger was usually at odds with Felton’s Draco Malfoy on screen, but they were excellent friends off it. Unfortunately, Watson was 11 and Felton was 14, so despite her evident attraction at the time, he only ever regarded her as a “little sister.”

Watson explained, “I walked into the room where we were having tutoring. The assignment that had been given was to draw what you thought God looked like, and Tom had drawn a girl with a backward cap on a skateboard.”

“And I just don’t know how to say it – I just fell in love with him,” she concluded. “I used to come in every day and look for his number on the call sheet, it was number seven, and if his name was on the call sheet, it was an extra exciting day. He was three years above me and so for him he was like, ‘You’re like my little sister.’”

Some photos made her look older, and Twitter users are having a field day trolling her.
