Emma Watson says she’s delighted she wore her underwear to the London premiere of the new Harry Porter picture, where she experienced a wardrobe malfunction.

The wind kicked up the young actress’s flowing dress, revealing some skin—and Watson’s underwear—to the cameras during the rain-soaked event. On Wednesday night’s Late Show, TV presenter David Letterman couldn’t help but chastise the actress over the event.

She, on the other hand, has shrugged off the incident, insisting that things might have been far worse. “This was a small wardrobe malfunction; that happens. I don’t actually remember it happening. At least I’m wearing underwear!”

The actress was on the show to promote Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, in which she portrays Hermione Granger.

Watson returns to the big screen with co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on July 15.

The 19-year-old also acknowledged that she is still learning her way around Hollywood.

She added: “I’m still learning, I’m still learning!”

In a recent interview, she expressed an interest in attending university in the United States.

She stated she pondered going to Cambridge after achieving straight As in her A Levels, but she was turned off by the amount of attention her presence there would attract.

‘Cambridge is so high profile,’ she explained. ‘I definitely am attracted to [going to study] in the States for that reason.’

Meanwhile, her co-star Daniel was appearing on another talk show, mimicking numerous celebrities from the United States, including rapper Kanye West.

Daniel also turned into Michael Phelps, an Olympic swimmer.
