Duke and Duchess of Sussex Hire Former Model and Reality Star for Next Career Move

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have enlisted the help of Tracy Ryerson, a former model and reality star, to assist them in their upcoming career endeavors.

According to the Daily Mail, Ryerson has been appointed as the new head of scripted content at Archwell Productions.

This appointment comes at a crucial time for the couple, as their highly lucrative Spotify deal was recently terminated following the release of just one podcast series.

Tracy Ryerson gained fame in the United States after appearing on the reality series “The Real L Word.”

Additionally, she has worked as the head of TV for Rare Birds, the production company responsible for the hit show “Peaky Blinders.”

On social media, Ryerson describes herself as a TV producer, occasional actress, and dedicated Instagram mom.

“The Real L Word” was a groundbreaking reality show that chronicled the lives of a group of lesbian and bisexual women in Los Angeles.

The series ran for four seasons and concluded in 2012.

Ryerson’s appointment marks another high-profile addition to Harry and Meghan’s team, as reports suggest that the couple has lost a total of 16 employees since 2018.

Ryerson’s role may involve ensuring that Harry and Meghan stay on track with their Netflix deal.

The streaming service has expressed its deep appreciation for its partnership with Archwell Productions, emphasizing that their exciting journey with the Sussexes is far from over.

Since signing the deal in 2020, the couple has released a controversial docuseries detailing their departure from the royal family.

This recent hiring follows Spotify’s decision to cancel its agreement with the royal couple.

In a joint statement, the streaming platform expressed mutual agreement to part ways and expressed pride in the series they had created together.

As a result of this split, the couple faced further setbacks.

Bill Simmons, the head of podcast innovation and monetization at Spotify, publicly criticized the couple, referring to them as “**** Grifters.”

Simmons also mentioned a conversation he had with Harry about a podcast idea, which he described as one of his best stories.

Despite these challenges, Meghan and Harry are set to release a second documentary series later this year titled “Heart of Invictus.”

The series, scheduled for an August release, will follow a group of service members as they prepare to compete in the Invictus Games tournament held in The Hague.

However, not all of the couple’s projects have been successful.

Netflix recently canceled their animated series “Pearl,” which was centered around a 12-year-old girl inspired by influential women throughout history.

Meghan was set to be an executive producer on the project, alongside David Furnish, husband of Elton John.
