Duke and Duchess of Sussex Drop in Royal Website Ranking

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have experienced a significant drop in their ranking on the official Royal Family website.

They now find themselves below eight other members of the Royal Family.

This shift indicates a change in the hierarchy within the monarchy.

Prince Harry, who remains sixth in line to the throne, has been placed even lower than his uncle, Prince Edward, and his wife, Sophie, the Countess of Wessex.

The profiles of all the members of the Royal Family are listed on the website, with Queen Elizabeth II taking the top spot, followed by her eldest son, Prince Charles.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William, Princess Anne, and Prince Andrew also rank higher than the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the platform.

To find Prince Harry’s picture and biography, royal enthusiasts need to scroll halfway down the page.

Meghan’s profile is just above Princess Alexandra, the Queen’s cousin.

The Royal website not only lists each member but also provides a detailed description of their work and service.

It also acknowledges Meghan and Harry’s decision to step back as senior members of the Royal Family.

According to the website, they are currently dividing their time between the United Kingdom and North America, while still fulfilling their duties to the Queen, the Commonwealth, and their patronages.

Their family home, Frogmore Cottage, remains in the UK.

Despite their altered roles, the Duchess will continue to support various charitable causes and organizations associated with the arts, education, women’s support, and animal welfare.

In a rare interview, Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex addressed the ongoing tensions within the Royal Family.

The Countess of Wessex emphasized that, regardless of recent events, the Royals are still a family.

Speaking from their Surrey mansion, Prince Edward expressed their flattery at assuming a more prominent role in a streamlined monarchy.

Sophie also revealed that she had a lengthy conversation with Harry following the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral in April.

Regarding their changed position within the Royal Family, Sophie remarked that they had been carrying on with their duties and hoped to do them well.

However, there has been a sudden hiatus and certain things have changed.

Naturally, the media are now seeking individuals to fill what is perceived as a void.

Sophie added that if people wish to pay more attention to their actions, it would be welcomed.
