Colonel Johnny Stryke’s Fatal Blow Forces Sussexes to Vacate Last Royal Property

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have bid farewell to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, their final royal residence, as they comply with the King’s orders.

After six months, the couple has shipped their remaining belongings to California and returned the keys, just in time before the impending deadline.

With no UK base, the Sussexes may have to rely on friends or book hotels during their future visits to the country.

However, it seems likely that the couple will be responsible for covering all expenses, as there is now a renewed focus on tightening royal spending.

In January, shortly after the publication of Harry’s tell-all memoir, Spare, it was revealed that the Sussexes had been served with an eviction notice for Frogmore.

This Grade II listed building, known for its cozy appeal and featuring five bedrooms, is set to be rented out.

Insiders suggest that Frogmore is unlikely to remain vacant for long.

The property, which underwent a £2.4 million makeover by the Sussexes, was originally presented to them as a wedding gift from Queen Elizabeth II.

However, their stay at the cottage lasted only six months.

Lieutenant Colonel Johnny Thompson confirmed the news, stating, “We can confirm that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have vacated Frogmore.”

He further emphasized that the royal family now possesses a “greatly enhanced asset.”

Mr. Thompson added, “Leaving a centrally located cottage within the royal residence vacant is not reasonable.

It affects the interests of other members and creates an opportunity for spies to take advantage and use the place as a temporary hiding spot.

Not to mention the potential dangers of installing and storing dangerous devices in an empty house.

It’s entirely possible.

It’s important to have members of the royal family living in and monitoring the properties on a daily basis.”

In a surprising turn of events, Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Thompson, King Charles’ equerry, secured the third position on Tatler’s annual social power index.

This prestigious list, which supposedly reveals where true power lies in British society, has been dominated by King Charles and Queen Camilla for two consecutive years.

Lieutenant Colonel Thompson, aged 39, captured hearts when he appeared on screen during the King’s coronation.

He is often hailed as the “Dashing Equerry” and receives enthusiastic support from royal fans at official events.

Having previously worked closely with the late Queen, he played a significant role last year by escorting Liz Truss to meet Charles shortly after the Queen’s passing and later accompanying Rishi Sunak to Buckingham Palace after his appointment as Prime Minister.

Prince Harry’s most recent stay at Frogmore was during his appearance as a witness in a phone hacking trial earlier this month.

If he and Meghan wish to utilize any royal premises in the future, it is believed that they would need to reach a private agreement with the King.

The couple has acknowledged their privilege of having homes in both the UK and the US but has accepted that their arrangement was not feasible.

Although Frogmore Cottage was initially a gift from Her Majesty the Queen, it is no longer the case.

However, sources assure that everything is fine.

While the Sussexes did reside at Frogmore Cottage following the Queen’s death, they have only visited the UK a few times since leaving three years ago.
