Angelina Jolie dumped Brad after catching him with a girl

Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt after discovering he was cheating on her with his co-star, Marion Cotillard.

A private investigator was hired by Jolie, who had suspicions that Pitt was involved with Cotillard during the filming of their movie “Allied.”

The couple have been together since 2004 and married for two years.

Jolie’s private investigator discovered that Pitt had been cheating on her with Cotillard, whilst partying with Russian hookers and hard drugs.

The source added that “He’s in the throes of some insane midlife crisis, and Angie is fed up.”

Pitt was said to have developed a close relationship with Cotillard, who has denied the affair and confirmed that she is still with her long-term partner, French actor and director Guillaume Canet.

In addition to Pitt’s alleged affair, Jolie has reportedly grown tired of sparring with him over their lifestyles.

Jolie has increasingly wanted to quit Hollywood to devote herself to travelling for her humanitarian work, while Pitt prefers Hollywood and its parties.

Jolie spoke before the United Nations in Manhattan on Friday asking them to help millions of Syrian refugees.

TMZ has reported that Jolie believes that her husband’s drinking and pot-smoking is having an effect on their children.

Added to that is his “anger problem,” and Jolie has had enough. In the divorce filing, Jolie has cited “irreconcilable differences.”

Jolie is seeking physical custody of the couple’s six children, requesting that Pitt is granted only joint legal custody.

She is not asking for spousal support.

Brangelina’s French chateau, Miraval, where the couple married in August 2014, has reportedly been on the market for a few months.

Jolie has hired Laura Wasser as her lawyer, who has previously represented Johnny Depp in his divorce from Amber Heard.

Pitt released a statement to People magazine saying, “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”

Jolie’s manager, Geyer Kosinski, said, “Angelina will always do what’s in the best interest to protect her children. She appreciates everyone’s understanding of their need for privacy at this time.”

The court documents show the couple’s date of separation as 15 September 2016. Jolie is not seeking joint physical custody, but is asking for visitation rights for Pitt.

Jolie and Pitt met whilst filming “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and announced their engagement in April 2012. The couple married two years later in France, at a private ceremony at Château Miraval.

Jolie has previously been married to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton. Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston before he began dating Jolie.

Pitt was due to attend the premiere of his latest film, “Voyage of Time,” in Los Angeles on Wednesday, but cancelled his appearance.

Cotillard has cancelled her appearance at a premiere in Paris of her latest film, “Juste La Fin Du Monde.”

The couple’s wax figures at Madame Tussauds in London were separated following the announcement of the divorce.

Jolie and Pitt are not the only celebrity couple to have announced their split this year.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard divorced in August, and Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber confirmed their separation on Tuesday.

Jolie has been working on “First They Killed My Father,” a drama she directed and co-wrote for Netflix, which will be released later this year. Pitt will next be seen in “Allied,” in which he stars with Cotillard.
