Hillary Clinton hit Bill over cheating scandal
Former White House reporter Kate Andersen Brower states that in 1998, a housemaid entered the Clintons’ bedroom to find blood-stained sheets.
Bill Clinton claimed he collided with the bathroom door, but past ushers assert that Hillary Clinton hit him with a book from the bedside table.
Ex-aides also disclosed that they noticed Mr. Clinton growing increasingly closer to Monica Lewinsky from 1995, three years before their affair was publicly exposed.
This uncomplimentary depiction of the Clintons comes from a new book that describes them engaging in heated arguments in front of staff members.
Florist Ronn Payne recalled witnessing two butlers eavesdropping on a fierce dispute in the West Sitting Hall.

Payne stated that she heard the first lady shout, “Goddamn b******!” at the president, followed by the sound of a heavy object being hurled across the room.
Staff rumors suggest that Hillary threw a lamp.
In her book, The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House, Brower, formerly of Bloomberg News, shares this account.
She interviewed 100 former White House residence staff members, as well as former first ladies Laura and Barbara Bush and Rosalynn Carter.
According to Brower, butlers observed Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky, a White House intern, growing closer from 1995 when they were often seen together in the family movie theater.
Staff members began to alert each other of “Lewinsky sightings.”
On the night Hillary allegedly hit her husband, Bill publicly claimed he “injured himself running into the bathroom door in the middle of the night.”
However, a staff member told Brower, “We’re certain [Hillary Clinton] struck him with a book. There were at least 20 books on the bedside table, including the Bible.”
Brower also reveals that for three to four months in 1998, the president slept on a sofa in a private study connected to their bedroom on the second floor.
Many of the female staff members believed he got what he deserved.
The book further notes that Barack Obama initially felt uneasy being attended to by staff when he took office, as he had only recently paid off his student loans.
It also portrays Nancy Reagan as a strict overseer of her husband, often scolding him when he stayed up late to watch the 11pm news and commanding him to go to bed as if he were a misbehaving child.
