Heidi Klum dressed as giant worm for Halloween, here’s why

On October 31st, Heidi Klum arrived at her 21st annual Halloween party in New York City dressed as an earthworm.

The model is known for her extravagant Halloween costumes, and this year was no exception as she donned a series of prosthetics and spent hours in makeup to transform into the human-sized worm.

The costume included realistic details such as ridges, a curved head, and a long tail.

Klum’s eyes and mouth were the only parts of her body not covered by the costume, though she did wear bright yellow contacts.

Her tan sneakers were slightly visible as she walked the red carpet.

Klum’s husband, Tom Kaulitz, accompanied her dressed as a fisherman with a bloody eye.

The couple’s costumes were meant to be a cohesive theme, with Kaulitz as the fisherman and Klum as the worm he had caught on his fishing pole.

Klum had been teasing her Halloween look on Instagram for months, posting videos of her makeup artist working on her costume as she lounged in an oversized Halloween bathrobe.

In a final video before heading to the party, she showed the transformation from bathrobe and pre-costume makeup to fully-fledged worm costume.

Klum partnered with Trick-or-Treat @unicefusa to raise awareness for their annual Halloween campaign, which aims to raise money for children in need.

The party had taken a two-year hiatus before returning this year.

Klum is known for her elaborate Halloween costumes, which have included everything from a dominatrix to an elderly version of herself.

She has been teasing this year’s party and costume, posting videos of her costume fittings on social media.
