The drama surrounding the Venice Film Festival premiere of “Don’t Worry Darling” continues as new details emerge about the tension between actresses Florence Pugh and Olivia Wilde.
According to Variety co-editor-in-chief Ramin Setoodeh, Pugh “refused to make eye contact” with Wilde during the movie’s four-minute standing ovation.
Setoodeh posted a video of the moment on Twitter, which has since gone viral.

This incident marks the first time Pugh and Wilde have been seen together since a leaked phone call between Wilde and Shia LaBeouf was made public.
In the call, Wilde can be heard saying, “I feel like I’m not ready to give up on this yet, and I, too, am heartbroken and I want to figure this out.”

“If she really commits, if she really puts her mind and heart into it at this point and if you guys can make peace—and I respect your point of view, I respect hers—but if you guys can do it, what do you think? Is there hope? Will you let me know?”
