OJ Simpson admitted to killing his ex-wife: Book publisher says

A book publisher, Judith Regan, who was the scheduled publisher of “If I Did It” book by O.J. Simpson, revealed in an interview with Fox News that she received a call from a lawyer representing the former football star.

The lawyer told Regan that Simpson was ready to confess his involvement in the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman.

Regan stated that she initially thought the call was a scam and did not believe the lawyer.

However, the next day, she called the lawyer back, and he repeated that Simpson was willing to confess but with one condition.

According to Regan, “The only condition that he had was that he didn’t want to call the book, ‘I Did It.’ He wanted to put an ‘if’ in front of it so that he would have deniability with his children. He couldn’t face his children and he couldn’t tell them that he had done it.”

O.J. Simpson was acquitted of the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ron Goldman in October 1995.

However, in a subsequent civil lawsuit, he was found responsible for their deaths and ordered to pay $33.5 million to the victims’ families.

The publication of “If I Did It” was initially cancelled by the publisher, but the Goldman family later sued and obtained the rights to the work.

They published it in 2007 under the title “If I Did It: Confessions of a Killer.”

Twelve years later, the interview between Simpson and Regan is scheduled to air as part of a two-hour special on Fox News titled “O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession?” The special will be hosted by Soledad O’Brien.

According to Deadline, the special promises to provide “a detailed—and disturbing—description of what might have happened on that fateful night of June 12, 1994.”

Simpson will provide his account of the events of that night, and the audience will get to hear his story in his own words.

Simpson’s involvement in the murder of his ex-wife and her friend has been the subject of much debate and speculation over the years.
