Vanessa Hudgens was nicknamed ‘frizzhead’ by Bullies
Vanessa Hudgens revealed she used to suffer from the misery of being a victim of bullying in school. Despite her present reputation as a sophisticated celebutante, the brunette beauty claimed that not everyone felt she was a beautiful girl while she was in school. The “Beastly” actress stated that her frizzy hair was frequently mocked by her classmates in school.
Because she was timid as a youngster, the High School Musical star had a hard time fitting in.
She remarked, “When I grew up I was super shy. People didn’t like me because of that.”
‘I had one friend growing up and I got teased for my big, curly, frizzy hair,’ Vanessa tells Metro.

Vanessa Hudgens met her new boyfriend in a ‘very random’ way
2021/04
Vanessa Hudgens raved about how she found her ideal match and boyfriend Cole Tucker in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. For the uninitiated, the pair made their relationship public on Instagram on Valentine’s Day earlier this year. Vanessa had posted a picture of the couple kissing on Instagram.
‘It’s you, it’s me, it’s us. @cotuck ❤️💋🤟🏽,’ she captioned the photo, to which Tucker replied, ‘Big love,’ in the comments section.
The actress was first seen with Tucker in November 2020, when they were photographed holding hands and cuddling during a Los Angeles excursion.
The 32-year-old actress confesses in a recent interview with ET that she and her current boyfriend originally met on Zoom.
“Me and Cole met on a Zoom meditation group. Very random, yes,” Hudgens tells Katie Krause of ET. “Zoom, you’ve got to love it.”
‘He’s just kind of perfect for me. I am [happy]. I really am,’ the Princess Switch star, 32, added as she recounted how she quickly bonded with Cole.
‘I think that it’s also so important to stay grateful for everything that you have in life. I’ve been making that a priority, and I feel like it’s just been making magic happen all the more.’
If you’re wondering who Cole is, he’s a 24-year-old shortstop and outfielder with the Pittsburg Pirates of Major League Baseball.
Vanessa’s new relationship began ten months following her divorce from Austin Butler.
During a spring training media conference in late February, Tucker gushed about Hudgens, saying, “She’s awesome, I love her.”
“I was taking a road trip, and driving through New Mexico, and living on these prickly pear margaritas. I wasn’t familiar with them. It was the only place I had seen them, and I was obsessed,” she recalls. “I was like, ‘What is this prickly pear?’ And started doing more research on it.”
“My best friend, Oliver Trevena, was trying to figure out a beverage to do. And I was like, ‘Hey, I think this is it. I think this is our one,'” she adds. “And we’ve just been putting our heads together as far as the branding goes, the cans, the imagery that you’re seeing, the taste, the whole thing. It’s very involved, but we’re both so proud of Caliwater.”
Caliwater is “a breed of its own,” according to Hudgens, and it’s incredibly refreshing with “a ton of health benefits.”
“And it’s just delicious!” she exclaims. “It has a ton of electrolytes, so great for rehydrating, and it’s really great for anti-inflammatory. It has a ton of antioxidants which are really good for your skin. It has antiviral qualities. It can lower bad cholesterol. It can regulate blood sugar levels. So it’s kind of a miracle plan, really.”
“Anyone who knows me knows I’m terrible at drinking water. I am always dehydrated. It’s an issue,” she continues. “But now that I have Caliwater, I call it my ‘candy water,’ because it’s actually something that I want to drink.”
With a 7-9 record, Tucker and the Pirates are now in fourth place in the NL [National League] Central standings.
