Val Kilmer was dying to kiss Angelina Jolie on set

Val Kilmer, the 60-year-old actor, has revealed his attraction towards Angelina Jolie while working with her in the 2004 historical epic film, “Alexander”.

In his memoir, “I’m Your Huckleberry,” Kilmer explained that he was excited to kiss the actress, buy her a Gulfstream jet, and have “V+J painted in rainbow glory” on its tail.

He also mentioned that at the time, Jolie had recently adopted her first child, Maddox, and was the perfect example of “unapproachable stardom and impossibly chic maternal instinct.”

Kilmer portrayed Philip II of Macedonia, the father of Alexander the Great, in the movie, while Jolie played the role of Alexander’s mother, Queen Olympias.

Kilmer had asked director Oliver Stone if his and Jolie’s characters could have flashbacks to falling hard for each other and “storming the castle with passion before turning against each other.”

Kilmer added that he was joking, but the director did not seem to pick up on the humor.

The film also featured Colin Farrell as Alexander, Anthony Hopkins, Jared Leto, and Rosario Dawson. Despite its high budget of $155 million, the movie earned over $167 million worldwide.

In his memoir, Kilmer also discussed his past relationships, his current love life, and his battle with throat cancer.

“I haven’t had a girlfriend in 20 years. The truth is I am lonely part of every day,” Kilmer wrote in the book.

Kilmer was in a relationship with Daryl Hannah, Cindy Crawford, and Cher and was married to actress Joanne Whalley in 1988.

They divorced in 1996 and share two children, daughter Mercedes, 28, and son Jack, 24. Kilmer said that he has always been fascinated by women and finds them more intriguing than men.

“I’ve always found women infinitely more interesting than men,” Kilmer wrote.

“Perhaps that’s why we’ve always gotten along. We are big oafy elephants… and they are butterflies.”

Kilmer’s memoir also detailed his struggle with throat cancer, which he was diagnosed with in 2015.

He underwent a tracheotomy and lost his voice, which made it challenging for him to act.

He has since regained his voice and is now working on a project with his daughter, Mercedes, titled “Paydirt.”

Kilmer’s memoir, “I’m Your Huckleberry,” takes its title from his famous line in the movie “Tombstone,” where he played the role of Doc Holliday.

The book has received positive reviews for its candid and entertaining style, which sheds light on Kilmer’s personal and professional life.
