Uma Thurman details rape by powerful Harvey Weinstein

Uma Thurman has accused Harvey Weinstein of s**ually assaulting her at the Savoy Hotel in London.

She also said that Weinstein had been inappropriate towards her in other ways, including an incident in a Paris hotel room.

Thurman said that she had warned Weinstein to never again assault anyone.

“If you do what you did to me to other people you will lose your career, your reputation and your family, I promise you,” she said she told him.

Thurman’s allegations were made in an interview with the New York Times.

Thurman had previously been reluctant to speak out.

She said that she had been “waiting to feel less angry” before talking about the allegations.

She had also suffered physical injuries during the making of Kill Bill, which she said had left her with a permanently damaged neck and “screwed-up knees”.

Thurman described how Weinstein had led her into a steam room while wearing a bathrobe during a meeting at a Paris hotel.

“I was standing there in my full black leather outfit – boots, pants, jacket,” she said.

During another meeting, at the Savoy Hotel in London, Weinstein had allegedly pushed her down and tried to expose himself.

Thurman compared the experience to being hit with a bat.

She had managed to escape by wriggling away “like a lizard”.

Weinstein is currently facing trial on charges of s**ual abuse.

He has always denied any allegations of non-consensual s**.

A statement from his spokesperson acknowledged that he had made a “flirtatious exchange” with Thurman 25 years ago in Paris, but denied the actress’ claims of physical assault.

The statement also noted that Thurman and Weinstein had enjoyed a “close and mutually beneficial working relationship”.

Thurman’s allegations against Weinstein have complicated her relationship with Quentin Tarantino, who directed her in Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill.

Thurman said that she had told Tarantino about the London incident.

However, she also claimed that Tarantino had been responsible for endangering her life during the filming of Kill Bill.

He had forced her to drive a car that she had been warned was not safe.

The car subsequently crashed into a tree, leaving Thurman with serious injuries.

Tarantino has previously admitted that he knew about Weinstein’s conduct.

In an interview in October, he said that he “knew enough to do more than I did”.

Thurman also claimed that Tarantino had spat on her face and choked her for different scenes in Kill Bill.

Representatives for the director have not yet commented on the allegations.

Ilona Herman, a makeup artist for Robert De Niro and a friend of Thurman’s, supported the actress’ account of her confrontation with Weinstein at the Savoy Hotel.

Herman said that Thurman had told her that Weinstein had threatened to ruin her career.

Thurman’s ex-husband, Ethan Hawke, also confirmed that Tarantino was “very upset with himself” about the crash scene when he confronted him.

A spokesperson for Weinstein said that six photographs existed which showed the “strong relationship” between the producer and Thurman.
