Tom Hardy undressed while auditioning for Star Trek

Tom Hardy’s audition for the role of Praetor Shinzon in Star Trek: Nemesis was a “bizarre” experience according to Patrick Stewart.

The film, which was released in 2002, was Hardy’s second foray into Hollywood following his appearance in Ridley Scott’s Black Hawk Down.

Praetor Shinzon was revealed to be a young clone of Stewart’s Captain Picard in the film.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Stewart revealed he struggled to find an actor to play the part before his friend suggested Tom Hardy, who was filming in Morocco at the time.

Hardy then put himself on tape for the role.

Stewart went on to explain that Hardy’s audition tape was unusual.

Hardy had filmed some of his “antics” in his hotel room along with his audition.

Hardy later confirmed rumours that there was some partial n/d^ty in the tape.

According to Stewart, “It was a bizarre video and there are some people who believe he was actually n/ked in this video… He had the sides of some of the Shinzon scenes, but he was improvising them.”

“He wasn’t really doing what was in the script. It certainly made us all sit up and pay attention.”

Star Trek’s film franchise has had its ups and downs over the years, with Star Trek: Nemesis being one of the less successful films.

Hardy’s performance in the film was not particularly well-received, although the actor has since gone on to achieve considerable success in Hollywood.

Hardy’s “antics” have continued in the years since his Star Trek audition.

In his role as Venom, he famously climbed into a restaurant lobster tank and wrestled with a live chicken.

Hardy has also spoken in other interviews about his Star Trek audition, revealing that he was unable to find a video editor to remove some of the other footage he had filmed in his hotel room.

Speaking about Hardy’s audition, Stewart said, “We couldn’t find someone [to play Praetor Shinzon].”

“And I had a friend who had been an agent of mine in London… I called her and said, ‘Look, they said they’ve seen everyone but is there any actor you know who Star Trek [producers] haven’t seen who could be me and younger?’ And she said, ‘Absolutely. I know just the man. He wasn’t seen, because he’d been filming abroad and he’s in Morocco right now. And his name is Tom Hardy.’ I have a lot of respect for [the agent], so Tom put himself on video.”

Despite the unusual nature of his audition, Hardy was eventually cast in the role of Praetor Shinzon.

However, the film was not a commercial success and received mixed reviews from critics.

Hardy’s career has gone from strength to strength since his appearance in Star Trek: Nemesis.

He has starred in a number of successful films, including Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, and Mad Max: Fury Road.

Hardy has also received critical acclaim for his performances in television dramas such as Peaky Blinders and Taboo.

Although he is known for his offbeat behaviour, Hardy is widely regarded as one of the most talented actors of his generation.

He has been nominated for numerous awards throughout his career, including an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Revenant.

Hardy has previously spoken about the challenges of working in Hollywood, describing the industry as “a very unforgiving place.” However, he has also expressed his love for acting, saying, “It’s the only thing I ever wanted to do. It’s my first love, and it will be my last.”
