Tom Cruise has a mysterious plan for his daughter Suri, according to ex-Scientologist Leah Remini.

Suri was six years old when her mother, Katie Holmes, left Tom and moved to New York with her daughter.

Despite the distance, Tom and Suri remained close and were seen together at Disneyland in 2012.

It is unclear how often they see or communicate with each other now that Suri is 16.

In April 2019, it was reported that Tom still wants to be part of his daughter’s life.

A source told Hollywood Life, “As challenging as things have become for him and his daughter, he still loves her,” adding that he “thinks about her all the time.”

The Church of Scientology has been accused of forbidding relationships between remaining Scientologists and family members who have left the fold, and some reports suggest that Scientology played a role in Tom and Katie’s split.

However, there is nothing to suggest that this applied to Tom and Suri.

The church has denied these claims and stated that Scientologists respect the faith of others and do not cut ties with non-Scientologist friends or family members because they have chosen another religion.

Leah Remini, an actress and former Scientologist, claims that Katie has been labelled as a “suppressive person,” an enemy of the church, which means that Tom believes, like all Scientologists, that he cannot be connected to Suri.

Leah also said that she believes Tom has a plan to lure Suri into Scientology when she gets older.

When Katie filed for divorce in 2012, she reportedly blindsided Tom.

During the negotiations over the couple’s £275 million estate, Tom agreed to pay Katie £330,000 in child support each year until Suri turns 18.

The settlement also gave Katie sole custody and reportedly contained “ironclad” rulings that Suri would not be exposed to anything Scientology related.

Leah, who left Scientology a year after Katie in 2013, believes that there is an agreement between Tom and Katie to protect their daughter.

Since the split, Katie has lived a low-key life with her daughter in New York, where they are often seen walking together.

According to a source cited by Us Magazine, the mother-daughter duo is incredibly close and has saved each other.

Katie rarely speaks about her daughter, but in November 2020, she shared a rare update about her only child, saying that her biggest goal has always been to nurture Suri’s individuality and make sure she is strong, confident, and able.
