These actors used s-x toys as weapons

The cast of the sci-fi movie “Everything Everywhere All at Once” had to work with a variety of props during the filming, including s** toys.

Stephanie Hsu, who plays Joy in the movie, revealed that she enjoyed getting weird for the film.

She portrays the daughter of Michelle Yeoh’s character Evelyn and her nemesis, Jobu Tupaki.

Hsu admitted that she was initially nervous during her first scene with Yeoh, where she had to get weird.

She even had the directors announce to the room when she was going to get weird so that Yeoh would be warned that Jobu was about to be unleashed.

Yeoh was initially taken aback but quickly got over it.

However, some of the s** toy scenes may have given her pause.

In one scene, Jobu fights Evelyn with nunchucks that look like s** toys.

Hsu revealed that they did some wushu training to get familiar with it, but once they were in it, they focused more on the fight than the weapon itself.

They played it as if they were s** toys but also tried to ensure that they nailed the moves of the wushu choreography.

The writers/directors Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert rewrote some of Hsu’s scenes based on her quirky personality.

Still, Hsu suggested that the filmmakers are just as “weird” as she is.

They are self-proclaimed maximalists and not afraid to try every idea and be completely surprised by what happens.

Hsu jokingly acknowledged herself, Kwan, and Scheinert as “socially accepted” weirdos.

She credits that with helping them make such a mind-bending film.

“Our weird is kind of cool and endearing, but we’re just not afraid to push the envelope, and we’re excited by what is on the other side of the envelope/the envelope’s not even real,” Hsu said.

“Time is a construct. Everything everywhere all at once.”

The movie’s trailer, which was released in October, shows glimpses of the film’s action and its complex, multi-dimensional plot.

The film follows a woman named Ming (played by Yeoh), who is caught in a cosmic battle between different versions of herself in different realities.

Yeoh had previously spoken about the film, saying that it was “an extraordinary experience” and that she enjoyed working with the directors.

She said that the movie was “so different from anything” she had ever done before and that it was “mindblowing” to see how all the different realities came together.

The film also stars Ke Huy Quan and James Hong, and it premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

It received positive reviews from critics, who praised its ambition and its ability to balance its complex plot with its emotional core.
