Sydney Sweeney wasn’t comfortable filming nvde scene with co-star

Sydney Sweeney, who rose to fame with her role as Cassie in Euphoria, has been applauded for her mature and stunning performances in the show.

The actress has frequently appeared in intimate scenes and n/d^ty in her projects.

However, not all sets have been safe and comfortable, according to Sweeney.

In an interview with The Independent, she shared her experience of feeling disgusted after filming an intimate scene where she did not feel comfortable with her co-star.

“I’ve had experiences where I want to go home and scrub myself completely raw because I feel disgusting.

“I didn’t feel comfortable with my cast mate or the crew, and I just didn’t feel like my character would be doing it.

“That made me even more self-conscious. I didn’t feel like I was able to speak up,” Sweeney said.

Sweeney also spoke about the importance of having an intimacy coordinator and understanding producers on set to make actors feel secure and comfortable.

She praised Sam Levinson for being sensitive to her comfort level on the set of Euphoria.

“Sam is amazing. There are moments when Cassie was supposed to be shirtless, and I would tell Sam, ‘I don’t really think that’s necessary here.’ He was like, ‘OK, we don’t need it.’ I’ve never felt like Sam has pushed it on me or was trying to get a n/de scene into an HBO show. When I didn’t want to do it, he didn’t make me,” Sweeney said.

Sweeney’s comments raise concerns about the safety and comfort of actors and actresses while shooting intimate scenes.

Her openness about her experiences can help raise awareness about the importance of safe and respectful working environments for actors and actresses.

Sweeney’s body of work includes other projects like The White Lotus, where she also showcased her acting skills.

She spoke about a s** scene in Nocturnal which made her feel uncomfortable even though she kept her clothes on.

She said, “The most uncomfortable scene, I would have to say, is the s** scene.

“I was actually really uncomfortable.

“It was funny because I kept all my clothes on, but I still felt uncomfortable.

“It was also one of the first days, I believe, so I hadn’t really gotten to know anyone or [scene partner] Jacques [Colimon], and it was just diving into this random scene, I was like, ahh.”

Actors and actresses have been speaking out about the discomfort and lack of safety they feel while shooting intimate scenes in recent years.

The presence of an intimacy coordinator on sets has become essential to ensure a safe and respectful working environment for all actors and actresses.

The coordinator helps actors and actresses navigate intimate scenes and ensures that their boundaries and comfort levels are respected.
