Sydney Sweeney hates when fans abuse her n/ked scenes

Actress Sydney Sweeney has spoken out about the harassment and invasion of privacy she has experienced due to her roles in Hollywood, particularly her n/de scenes in the TV series Euphoria.

In an interview with GQ, Sweeney shared her disappointment in the online harassment and extreme sexualization that she and other actresses face, which can even extend to their families.

She has been a victim of this kind of abuse since she was a teenager, and it has resurfaced in her career as an actress.

Sweeney said, “It got to the point where they were tagging my family. My cousins don’t need that. It’s completely disgusting and unfair.”

Sweeney first became known for her role in the TV series Everything Sucks! when she was just 12 years old.

Her most recent work includes a role in HBO’s The White Lotus, in which she plays a newlywed on her honeymoon, and Euphoria, in which she plays a teenager who is struggling with abuse, sexuality, and low self-esteem.

However, the online attention that comes with these roles can be overwhelming and invasive, as Sweeney has experienced firsthand.

Sweeney has also faced criticism for her controversial views on social and political issues.

This led to rumors of her being “canceled” by fans, but she has since addressed these rumors and stood up for herself.

In her interview with GQ, Sweeney stated that she is not afraid to play roles that are controversial and will “piss people off more.”

Sweeney’s experiences with online harassment date back to May 2021, when she was body-shamed on social media.

She addressed the trolls in an Instagram Live video, stating that she is an artist and should be judged based on her work, not her appearance.

This is a message she has continued to promote in her interviews and social media posts.

Sweeney also shared that her experiences with body image issues started when she was in school.

She developed earlier than other girls and felt ostracized because of it. She said, “I think that I put on this weird persona other people had of me because of my body. So, I did play every sport and I studied really hard, and I did everything that people wouldn’t think I would do, to show them that my body doesn’t define who I am.”

Sweeney’s interview with GQ sheds light on the toxic culture of online harassment and the damage it can do to individuals and their families.

She hopes that by speaking out about her experiences, she can inspire others to do the same and help bring about change.

She said, “I want to continue to use my platform to encourage people to speak out and not feel ashamed about the things that they’ve been through.”
