Sydney Sweeney hated filming this t0pless scene

Sydney Sweeney recently revealed that she had asked “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson to remove some of her topless scenes from the HBO series.

The 24-year-old actress spoke candidly in a new interview with the Independent about her experiences with n^dty and how they made her feel.

According to Sweeney, there were moments where her character, Cassie, was supposed to be shirtless, but she felt it wasn’t necessary.

She said, “I would tell Sam, ‘I don’t really think that’s necessary here.’ He was like, ‘OK, we don’t need it.’”

Sweeney expressed that Levinson was very understanding and receptive to her requests and always made her feel comfortable and safe on set.

She went on to say, “I’ve never felt like Sam has pushed it on me or was trying to get a n^de scene into an HBO show.

When I didn’t want to do it, he didn’t make me.”

Sweeney also shared that “Euphoria” has an intimacy coordinator who is present on set to assist with X-rated scenes.

However, not all of her experiences with n^dty have been so positive throughout her career.

She admitted, “I’ve had experiences where I want to go home and scrub myself completely raw because I feel disgusting.”

The actress recounted feeling uncomfortable with her castmate or the crew during some of these instances, and she didn’t feel like her character would be doing it.

At the time, Sweeney felt like she wasn’t able to speak up about her concerns.

Although Sweeney is comfortable showing some skin on TV, she felt that her n^dty in “Euphoria” distracted the public from taking her seriously as an actress.

She said, “I’m very proud of my work in ‘Euphoria.’ I thought it was a great performance.

But no one talks about it because I got n^ked.”

Sweeney believes that there is a stigma against actresses who get n^ked on screen.

She argued that when a man has a s** scene or shows his body, he still wins awards and gets praised, but when a woman does it, it’s completely different.

The actress, who appears topless in several scenes from both seasons of “Euphoria,” revealed that she was cyberbullied the first time she stripped down on the show.

She explained that online trolls shared screenshots of her partially n^de scenes on social media and tagged her brother, Trent.

Sweeney called the bullying “disrespectful and distressing” and “the most hurtful thing that anybody could do.” However, despite the negative experiences, Sweeney remains proud of her work and hopes to continue performing in roles that challenge her as an actress.

In conclusion, Sweeney’s experience with n^dty in “Euphoria” sheds light on the challenges faced by actresses in Hollywood.

While some may feel comfortable baring it all, others may not, and it is important for creators and directors to respect their boundaries.

The stigmatization of actresses who choose to appear n^de on screen is a problem that needs to be addressed, and Sweeney’s bravery in speaking out about her experiences is a step in the right direction.
