Sussexes Face Backlash as They Return to UK Amidst Controversy

The Sussexes, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are on the brink of a backlash with the royal family as they make their first visit to the UK this year.

Their return follows the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations in June, and it comes amid controversial comments made by Meghan Markle in a rare interview with The Cut.

These comments have the potential to backfire on the couple, who have taken steps to increase their security, according to Neil Sean.

Neil Sean, speaking on his YouTube channel Neil Sean’s Daily News headline, highlighted the couple’s concerns about the impending backlash due to devastating headlines that were not caused by them.

As a result, they have decided to enhance their security measures.

Allegedly, they have been in contact with major security firms in the United Kingdom to ensure they have the necessary protection during their time in the country.

The heightened security measures will be in place as the Sussexes embark on a tour of charity events in both the UK and Germany.

This includes attending the One Young World Summit in Manchester, an Invictus Games event in Dusseldorf, and the Well Child Awards in London.

Neil Sean expressed surprise at the need for increased security, as he questioned the significance of these events in comparison to the negative public perception of Harry and Meghan.

He suggested that meeting the public may not be advisable given their low popularity ratings.

The cost of the heightened security measures will fall on Prince Harry, as he had hoped the expenses would be covered by the British Metropolitan Police and Her Majesty’s Government.

Unfortunately for him, this is not the case.

The couple, who reportedly arrived in the UK on Saturday, will have to rely on private security for their charity visit in Manchester.

Meghan Markle was seen exiting a BMW 4×4 outside the venue, where a crowd had gathered.

A protester held up a poster branding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as fake royals.

The Sussexes’ apparent snub of their royal relatives comes after they faced severe backlash for their criticisms of the royal family in Meghan’s recent interview with The Cut magazine.

Russell Myers, royal editor at the Daily Mirror, observed that the couple’s bubbling resentment towards the firm is evident as they adopt an “us-against-the-world” mentality.

Meghan’s perception of how she was treated by the media and within the monarchy, as well as her feeling of being constrained by the establishment, has fueled this resentment.

During a recent episode of Pod Save the Queen, Russell Myers emphasized the couple’s belief that it is them against the world.

He referred to Meghan’s story about teaching their three-year-old son manners, where she shared a lesson she learned from a friend’s mother: “salt and pepper are always passed together.”

This anecdote serves as a metaphor for their current mindset, highlighting their opposition to the traditional norms and expectations placed upon them.

As the Sussexes face the potential backlash and navigate the challenges of their return to the UK, it remains to be seen how their relationship with the royal family will evolve.

The couple’s determination to assert their independence and challenge the established order is likely to continue shaping their public image.
