Yvonne Strahovski’s Response To Nude Photo Leak
Yvonne Strahovski, star of Chuck and 24: Live Another Day, offers a powerful response to the photo leak that is definitely worth reading.
Strahovski posted a photograph on her Instagram account with the caption:
“It is with great sadness and disappointment that I address this hacking issue. To my fellow actresses whose privacy has been invaded—my heart goes out to you. I’m so disappointed that there are people in the world who feel the need to comitt these criminal acts. Some of these pictures are fake, my own included. Regardless—I ask you all—do not share the links. Don’t even look at the photos. Just let people have the privacy they deserve. Integrity is sacred.”
Strahovksi’s reaction serves as a reminder that the issue is one of privacy, not naked photos.

The Handmaid’s Tale star confirms she’s expecting second baby

The Handmaids Tale actress, 38, confirmed she is expecting her second child on Wednesday, showing off her baby bulge on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of The Tomorrow War.
The actress, 38, wore a tight gown with diamond earrings and a gold bracelet to the Los Angeles event, cradling her growing tummy.
“I’m super excited to be here, and this is a very special moment,” she said at the event. Strahovski went on to say that she is “about halfway” through her pregnancy and is expecting a boy. “I’m having a boy! You heard it first!”
The upcoming baby will be Yvonne’s second; she and husband Tim Loden announced the birth of their first son, William, in 2018.
“My heart has melted into a billion pieces a thousand times already,” the Australian captioned a photo of herself and the photographer’s child on Instagram at the time. “We have been blessed with the greatest joy of our lives, our baby boy. Welcome to the world Peanut, your parents love you beyond measure and you are already my little dream boat. My heart has been stolen!”
Strahovski is also coming off the Season 4 finale of The Handmaid’s Tale, which ended in mid-June with an explosive but “satisfying” finale. She spoke with BAZAAR.com on where her character Serena Joy’s storyline may go next, especially now that she’s expecting a child of her own.
“I have no idea what they’re going to come up with,” she said of Serena’s Season 5 storyline, “but to me, the most obvious thing that would be pretty fun to play out would be if Serena did get sent back to Gilead and become a handmaid because she’s now a fertile woman, and how she would handle that, especially if it’s a particularly abusive situation and it echoes June’s journey, or not.”
Strahovski inadvertently revealed the baby’s sex in September 2018. ““I’m just gonna hold him in there and hope for the best,” she told E! News at the Emmy Awards while joking about going into labor on the red carpet. “I just let it slip … didn’t I?”
Strahovski is well-known for her depiction of Serena Joy in The Handmaid’s Tale, as well as her role as scientist/military leader Romeo Command in The Tomorrow War, which is available to stream on Prime Video on July 1. The fourth season of the Hulu series ended on June 16 (spoilers coming! ), and the actress’ onscreen counterpart is also pregnant. The Handmaid’s Tale has been renewed for Season 5, and all previous seasons are now available on Hulu.
When the Golden Globe nominee’s character Serena Joy disclosed her pregnancy in season 4 of The Handmaid’s Tale, she said on Australia’s The Panel in May 2018 that she had a “tricky” time hiding her tummy while filming the second season of the Hulu program. “In the end I was just over it, so I said, ‘You know what, I’m pregnant.’”
When questioned about the brutal season four climax of The Handmaid’s Tale and whether she feels her character would suspect June of Fred’s murder, she said, “Yes. I feel like she’ll know in her heart. They know each other so well, I can’t imagine that not crossing her mind…
“I can imagine June purposely telling Serena about it, because she wants Serena to live in absolute fear, if and when she gets out of the detention centre.”
