Wendy Williams, a talk show presenter, has referred to Queen Elizabeth as a “mean b****.”

Williams blasted Her Majesty while claiming that she gave Archie the title of Earl of Dumbarton deliberately because it sounded like the term “dumb.”

“I love that Meghan and Harry insisted that he would not be called the Duke of….” Ms Williams said on the program.

“The Duke of ‘Dumberton’ they wanted to call him, ‘Dumbarton,” a co-host said, mispronouncing the Scottish title.

“Look Harry and Meghan rejected the name Earl of ‘Dumberton’ for Archie and I suspect you know because the Queen is a mean b**** behind the scenes…they were like what title can we give this black boy…’ Dumberton’,” Ms Williams added.

“But Meghan and Harry didn’t want him to be bullied in school, you know he would be.”

“Because no matter what kind of fancy school you go to, nothing is higher than being a royal. Dummy, dum dum, dum, dumber and dumbest.”

Her producer added: “The nicknames write themselves.

‘Dumberton’? No!”

This comes amid reports that Meghan and Harry purposefully ignored the Earl of Dumbarton title granted to Harry by his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II before their wedding while naming their baby Archie.

The title of Earl of Dumbarton was a subsidiary title of Prince Harry’s, and therefore Archie’s birthright. Harry might have given Archie the title after he was born.

Meghan and Harry told Oprah Winfrey in March that when they turned down the title of Earl of Dumbarton, they anticipated he would be given the title of prince and enjoy royal privileges when his grandpa Charles became king.

One royal insider told the Telegraph that “They didn’t like the idea of Archie being called the Earl of Dumbarton because it began with the word ‘dumb’ [and] they were worried about how that might look,” adding that “it wasn’t just Meghan who pointed out the potential pitfalls, it also bothered Harry.”

The Earl of Dumbarton is a Scottish title that was established during the reign of Charles II in the late seventeenth century.

Andrew Neil of GB News ridiculed the Duke and Duchess for refusing the title last month.

During his weekly “Woke Watch” program, the former BBC broadcaster slammed the choice, calling the centuries-old heraldic title “straight out of the Game of Thrones.”

Williams’ opinion of the Queen did not please Queen fans, with one user commenting, “Queen branded ‘mean B****’ by US TV host who insists Archie ‘would be bullied’ for title… THIS IS TOTAL GARBAGE! WENDY WILLIAMS HAS WRONG INFO!!”

When word of this emerged, Meghan and Harry found themselves in the center of the jokes they were ostensibly trying to keep their kid out of. Even the presenters of BBC Radio 4’s normally sober “Today” program couldn’t help but chuckle when reporting on it, with Nick Robinson concluding the piece with the remark, “Dumb and dumber.”
