Queen unhappy with Kate Middleton’s “laziness,” report claims

According to “royal sources,” who reportedly spoke to In Touch, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, believes Kate is quite dull. And lazy. And dumb. And vain. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about the Queen doubting Kate’s work ethic – it was widely reported that several years before William proposed to Kate, the Queen wondered if Kate would ever have a real job. The Queen believed it was improper for a young, unmarried lady to spend her twenties merely waiting for a prince. And now that Kate has married into “The Firm,” the Queen continues to worry, “Seriously, is this woman ever going to do anything?”

“As if it wasn’t bad enough to be called Waity Katie for eight years, poor Kate Middleton is now known in the royal inner circle as Duchess of Dolittle! Though Kate has appeared at dozens of charity events since marrying Prince William last April, that’s not good enough for Queen Elizabeth II, who’s been complaining of her “laziness,” the tabloid’s royal source says.

Kate is under pressure to be more like Princess Diana.

According to a source, “The Queen maintains a full schedule of events,” and huffs that Kate isn’t doing the same.

Meghan Markle accused of ‘mocking’ the Queen in her 40th birthday video

ARCHEWELL

A royal expert has accused Meghan Markle of insulting the Queen and “showing what she really thinks” of The Firm.

The Duchess of Sussex celebrated her 40th birthday with a hilarious video starring actress Melissa McCarthy.

Meghan announces a new project, 40×40, in the video, which was published yesterday, with the goal of getting women back into the workforce with the help of other women.

Melissa, the actress, pretends to be working on her organic garden in the first 30 seconds of the video before realizing her camera is turned on for the video chat.

‘Hang on, I’ll be right back,’ she says to the duchess, before returning to the screen having changed into a floral dress, fascinator and gloves.

Meghan asks Melissa to assist her with her birthday plan at the start of the video.

Melissa then tells a series of jokes on how Meghan should spend her 40th birthday, from getting tattoos to throwing a boat party, before revealing the new endeavor.

The two females are seen drinking from traditional tea cups, with Melissa wearing a hat and gloves.

Angela Levin, a royal critic, was offended by the pair’s use of British-style teacups and Melissa’s excessively formal attire.

The author, who wrote Harry: Conversations with the Prince, said Meghan was making fun of Her Majesty, 95, and her tea drinking habits as well as her practice of donning a “fancy hat and glove.”

Angela Levin, a royal expert and pundit, asked on Twitter, “Anyone else think that Meghan and her friend Melissa McCartney were mocking the Queen in the birthday video?”

She continued: “Both holding old fashioned cup and saucer like Meg used in her blog after 1st meeting with Queen. Melissa sipping from the cup wearing fancy hat and gloves?

“The mockery shows what she thinks of the Royal Family. She’s got what she wanted and is confident she can outsmart us all.

“We just have to wait for Harry’s outpouring in his memoir.”

Several other Twitter users appeared to agree with Angela’s thoughts.

In part, royal biographer Robert Jobson concurred, writing, “Maybe. Certainly poking fun at the Brits … with an outdated caricature. Par for the course.

Another person said: “Not just the queen but the British culture imo. Selling it and mocking it at the same time.”

One user replied: “The whole video was full of mockery. From the Queen to Harry acting the complete clown we now know him as. While she sits there like the cat that got the cream.”

But other people accused Angela of ‘trolling’ Meghan and pleaded with her to stop.

One user begged: “No, I never thought for one second that they were mocking Her Majesty the Queen. For goodness sake leave the couple alone. You use every opportunity to make money off the Queen and her family with gossip.”

Another added: ‘It was supposed to be funny – not mocking Her Majesty. Just my opinion.’

Prior to the video’s publication, the Queen and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wished Meghan a happy 40th birthday.

The Monarch shared the message on the official royal family Instagram account, which read: “Wishing the Duchess of Sussex a very happy birthday today!”

Meghan has asked 40 activists, athletes, artists, and world leaders to participate in her new ’40×40′ campaign by donating 40 minutes of mentorship to women re-entering the workforce, claiming that millions of women have ‘shouldered the brunt’ of the Covid-19 pandemic and need assistance returning or regaining work.
