According to royal pundits, Prince William is adopting a different approach to the Queen and will play Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “at their own game”

The Royal Family’s renowned motto has always been to “never comment, never complain,” but that may soon change.

Since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their intentions to stand aside from their prominent positions in March 2020, the Royal Family has been engaged in a bitter dispute with them.

Harry and Meghan’s outspokenness about their experience working for the Royal Family in an appearance with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year aggravated the relationship even more.

The Firm was shaken by the allegations from that appearance, which prompted William to publicly deny that his family is racist.

According to the Mirror, the Duke of Cambridge has decided to deviate from the norm and will seek to address the methods used by his brother and sister-in-law in the media.

After seeing that the Queen’s peacemaking efforts were not “paying off” Prince William decided to play Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “at their own game”

According to the Daily Star, the Queen has been attempting to “smooth things over” since Meghan came on the scene.

But, according to Mail on Sunday diarist Charlotte Griffiths, William has had enough and is taking a “different tack”

“William had felt that the smoothing over hadn’t been working for quite a long time at that moment,” she said.

“He felt decisive action was needed, that he needed to play them at their own game.”

“The smoothing over that the Queen had been doing very diligently from the moment Meghan came on the scene just wasn’t paying off at all.

“So maybe he thought he’d try a different tact.”

“A new picture is emerging that William is much tougher in this situation than we previously thought,” Ms Griffiths said.

“He was not taking any nonsense from very early on it seems.”

William is “dreading” Harry and Meghan’s next step, according to royal author Duncan Larcombe, who is the former Royal Editor of The Sun and author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story.

William urged the pair to stop “cashing in on the royal brand” by “continually talking about the royals,” according to Mr Larcombe.

“What do they do next?” he told OK! magazine. “That’s a question Prince William is dreading the answer to.”

After leaving the royal family, Harry and Meghan now reside in California.

Both have signed multi-million dollar agreements with Netflix and Spotify, while Harry has joined the board of a mental health start-up.

The Times reported only days before Meghan and Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah was set to broadcast that numerous Palace staff had filed complaints against the Duchess of Sussex, accusing her of workplace bullying.

Meghan allegedly drove two personal aides out of the royal household and damaged the trust of a third, according to a leaked email published by The New York Times.

The accusations have deeply “concerned” Buckingham Palace, which has started an investigation.
