According to reports, Prince William and Prince Harry received some of Princess Diana’s most exquisite belongings, including her famous wedding gown and engagement ring.

Princess Diana donned famous gowns and ensembles, as well as iconic jewelry pieces, and her legacy has been preserved by royal fans across the globe.

Following their mother’s death, each of the sons was given the opportunity to choose one particular keepsake from her jewelry collection.

William kept his mother’s Cartier watch, which had been presented to her by her father John Spencer, while Harry chose her sapphire engagement ring, according to her former butler Paul Burrell.

However, Paul went on to say that when Prince William was getting ready to propose to then-Kate Middleton, Harry gave him the ring.

When it came to his own engagement, Harry chose two diamonds from his mother’s collection and had them fashioned into a one-of-a-kind piece for Meghan Markle.

Diana’s wedding gown, created by David and Elizabeth Emmanuel, was also given to Diana’s two sons.

It’s one of the world’s most renowned gowns, and it’s on exhibit for the first time in more than two decades.

Thousands of pearls, a 153-yard tulle veil, and a record-breaking 25-foot train filled the nave of St Paul’s Cathedral in the ivory silk taffeta and antique lace gown.

A horseshoe made of 18-carat gold and diamonds was stitched into the needlework of the bridal gown for good luck.

The mesmerizing Princess was renowned for her beautiful fashion statements, and many famous pictures of her still exist today. The Princes also inherited 28 dresses, designer suits, evening gowns, and two diamond tiaras from her.

The lads also got the original text of Charles Spencer’s eulogy to his sister at her Westminster Abbey burial, as well as the score and lyrics of Elton John and Bernie Taupin’s rendition of Candle in the Wind, which was performed at her funeral by the musician.

According to the Press Association, Princess Diana left an estate worth £21 million at the time of her death, but more than £8 million was paid in inheritance tax, leaving £12,966,022. The money was divided equally between William and Harry, but because to their young ages – William was 15 and Harry was 12 – royal aides invested it, and by the time they were of legal age, the value had grown to £20 million, leaving them with £10 million each.

The death of the Princess of Wales shocked and grieved millions of people across the world. Many individuals may still remember where they were when the sad news was first delivered.

Diana, Princess of Wales, died on August 31, 1997, at 4:57 a.m. At the time of her death, the princess was 36 years old.
