Prince William and Prince Harry’s color coordination for the unveiling of Princess Diana’s monument may have been a planned homage to their loving mother.

According to a royal commentator, Prince Harry donned an identical blue suit with William as a poignant tribute to their late mother.

The Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex were an entertaining pair, with William leading the way and Harry making guests laugh.

Richard Eden, a royal observer, told the Palace Confidential podcast that he was surprised the color coordination hadn’t gotten more attention.

Richard said, “One thing that no one’s really picked up on is the level of co-ordination between the brothers.”

Trending:

“You might have noticed they were both wearing navy suits and Harry has been stuck to his grey suit ever since he met Meghan.

“I think she suggested, ‘You look good in grey’, and he’s always worn it, but on this occasion he wore navy.

“That was Diana’s favourite suit for a man – it was navy.”

Harry and William seemed to get along well and exhibited a brotherly connection.

Commentator Penny Junor hailed their appearance as “stunning.”

She added that although William and Harry seemed to be at ease with one another during the Kensington Palace reveal event, their tumultuous relationship was unlikely to be completely repaired.

“My guess is there’s quite a way to go, but it’s encouraging to see the two of them together, and with smiles on their faces. I think that is progress,” said the royal writer, author of Prince Harry: Brother, Soldier, Son, Husband.

“I think the brothers put on a very, very good show,” Ms Junor observed.

“I was expecting to see some sort of tight lips and some jaw muscles which we saw at the Commonwealth service in Westminster Abbey before Harry and Meghan left.

“They seemed to be reasonably relaxed with one another. They weren’t arms around each other, it wasn’t very touchy and there wasn’t, perhaps, the usual banter of times gone by.

“But had you not known there was a serious problem between the two of them, you wouldn’t necessarily have picked it up.”

The Duke of Sussex traveled up from California to join William for the unveiling.

The number of visitors was reduced according to COVID-19 rules.

Diana’s siblings were also there.

Harry, 36, returned last week without Meghan or their two children. The event happened on the day Diana would have been 60 (July 1).

The reunion was the second one since Harry stood down from royal responsibilities and went to the United States with his bride Meghan Markle.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry accused the royal family of racism, while Meghan claimed the Duchess of Cambridge made her cry before of her wedding.

Sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley created the statue, which depicted Diana with her arms over the shoulders of two children and a third standing to the side.

A pavement stone underneath the statue reads, “These are the units to measure the worth Of this woman as a woman regardless of birth.

“Not what was her station? But had she a heart? How did she play her God-given part?”

It has received mixed reactions:

“Princess Diana had an inner beauty which unfortunately hasn’t been captured with the statue,” one admirer said on Twitter.

“This statue is a complete misrepresentation of Princess Diana,” said another.

“The statue dedicated to Princess Diana is very beautiful. It truly represents her spirit and character.”

“Today was the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue and it’s beautiful. The children was a very nice touch!!” another tweeted.
