Simon Dorante-Day, who was adopted when he was 18 months old, makes this startling allegation. He claims that his adoptive grandmother worked for the Queen and informed him that he was the son of Prince Charles and Camilla.

Dorante-Day claimed, “I was very close to my grandmother and she told me many times that I was Camilla and Charles’ child. She didn’t just hint at it, she told me outright .”

However, there is one fundamental flaw in his tale. His timing for the prince and Camilla being his real parents is wrong because he was born in 1966. According to most accounts, the two did not meet until the early 1970s. Dorante-Day remains sure that he is their kid and that a DNA test will one day confirm it.

When he was a newborn, Simon Dorante-Day was adopted by a UK family with links to the Queen and Prince Phillip.

The 55-year-old has spent decades studying his birth parents’ exact identities and claims that “all roads lead back to Charles and Camilla.”

However, while Dorante-Day has been forthright about the information he’s gathered to back up his statements, he’s also been chastised by some detractors.

“I’ve always been very open to doing interviews and sharing my story because at the end of the day, I want Charles and Camilla to submit to a DNA test and I believe that making my plight public will help me achieve that,” he said.

“And I understand that it’s easy to hear my story and think that I’m crazy and making it all up. But I say today what I’ve said all along – everything I’m claiming it checkable. Everything I’m claiming has been found through public records and reputable sources.

“Anyone who wants to report my story can go through the same checks and balances as I have. They just need to take the time to do so. “ I am a sane and intelligent man, a father and grandfather. I volunteer for the community and worked for many years as an engineer. I know my story is unbelievable, but if you don’t believe it – just check it.”

The Crown’s portrayal of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles’ relationship made headlines from the start. According to Gyles Brandreth’s biography Charles and Camilla: Portrait of a Love Affair, the two initially met in 1971.

Charles and Camilla are said to have met at a polo match, however according to Brandreth, they were introduced by a mutual acquaintance, Lucia Santa Cruz, the daughter of the previous Chilean ambassador to London. According to the BBC, they abruptly stopped their romance in 1973 after dating for roughly a year.

Despite the fact that they went on to marry other people, they finally reconciled and married in a civil ceremony on April 9, 2005. Season 3 of Netflix’s The Crown, which stars Josh O’Connor and Emerald Fennell as the pair, showed how their relationship began. However, in season 4 of The Crown, we witness how unhappy Diana and Charles were in their marriage, and how Camilla had a role in that with her and the prince’s publicized romance.
