Only the Queen can reconcile Prince Harry and William : ‘No Trust’
The rivalry between Prince William and Prince Harry seems to be escalating after the latter’s back-to-back assaults on the royal family.
According to royal insiders, Prince William “doesn’t trust” Prince Harry, and the Queen is the only one who can help them repair their schism.
With just a week before they meet again at the installation of a monument of their mother, Princess Diana, the Duke of Cambridge is becoming increasingly “cautious” about speaking to his only brother. “I don’t think William trusts Harry anymore and he is always worried that anything he says will end up in the press in two or three days’ time. That’s what he is worried about, and he needs to be cautious of what he can actually say to him,” royal author Phil Dampier said on True Royalty TV’s weekly show “The Royal Beat.”
According to Vanity Fair’s royal reporter Katie Nicholl, the Queen is the only person who can heal the alleged schism between the two brothers.
She said the show, “She is the only person who can talk to Harry in a certain way and make him see sense.”

On July 1, which would have been Diana’s 60th birthday, Harry will travel to the UK for a memorial service at Kensington Palace.
After landing in the UK, the Duke will have to quarantine and is likely to go to Frogmore Cottage, the house he shared with Meghan before leaving for America.
However, a source close to Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, denied rumors that Meghan will return to the UK only weeks after giving birth to the couple’s second child.
“Meghan is not going to travel. She has just had a baby and Harry will travel alone,” they told the Mirror.
Archie last met other members of the Royal Family in mid-November 2019, when he briefly relocated to Canada with his parents.
Meanwhile, royal historian Robert Lacey recently stated that William worked with the Queen ahead of Prince Philip’s funeral to make sure he wasn’t walking beside Harry when the coffin was taken from Windsor Castle to St. George’s Chapel.
The Sussexes have also sparked a new royal feud by calling their daughter after the Queen’s nickname, with questions about whether they sought permission from the queen beforehand.
On the BBC’s flagship Radio 4 “Today” show, royal reporter Jonny Dymond claimed that the queen was “never asked” her opinion on her grandson’s choice to name their second child after her.
“Palace source tells BBC that the Queen was not asked by Meghan and Harry over the use of her childhood nickname; reports suggested Harry had sought permission from Queen to call newborn ‘Lilibet’; but Palace source says the Queen was ‘never asked’,” Dymond tweeted.
However, a spokesman for the Duke of Sussex informed CNN that Harry talked with the Queen before making the announcement, and she expressed her approval for the choice.
“The Duke spoke with his family in advance of the announcement. In fact, his grandmother was the first family member he called,” the spokesperson told CNN. “During that conversation, he shared their hope of naming their daughter Lilibet in her honor. Had she not been supportive, they would not have used the names.”
Over the weekend, it was reported that Prince Charles has ruled out the possibility of their firstborn, Archie, becoming a prince as the future king seeks to reduce the monarchy’s exorbitant cost to taxpayers.
