Meghan Markle’s sister slams Oprah interview as full of lies, shows proof
Samantha Markle, Meghan Markle’s half-sister, has blasted the royal’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, claiming that ‘the truth was totally ignored and omitted,’ while offering pictures and documents to refute all of the Duchess of Sussex’s allegations about her.
Samantha Markle, Meghan’s father Thomas Markle’s daughter, accused her sister of using her “depression as an excuse for treating people like dishrags.”
When questioned about Samantha Markle’s tell-all book, Meghan told Oprah Winfrey that she didn’t know her.
“I think it would be very hard to tell all when you don’t know me,” she said, adding that she was a “an only child” who hadn’t seen her half-sister in almost 20 years.
“She changed her last name back to Markle only when I started dating Harry. So I think that says enough,” Meghan continued.

Samantha has subsequently claimed that Meghan’s remarks were completely false.
“I was a Markle before she was. Markle has always been my name,” she said, holding up a copy of her 2008 college diploma that reads Samantha M. Markle.
“I don’t know how she can say I don’t know her and she was an only child,” Samantha said to the publication.
“We’ve got photographs over a lifespan of us together. So how can she not know me?”
She revealed pictures of her and her sister together throughout the years with Inside Edition, including one from 13 years ago in 2008, contradicting the duchess’s claim that they hadn’t seen each other in “at least 18, 19 years.”
Samantha then presented paperwork going back to December 1997 that identified her as Samantha M. Markle.
When questioned about her half-disclosure sister’s that she battled with suicidal thoughts, Samantha had little compassion for her, accusing Meghan of using her mental health as a “excuse” to treat others “like dishrags.”
“Depression is not an excuse for treating people like dishrags and disposing of them,” Samantha said.
The rivalry between the two sisters started when Samantha slammed her renowned half-sister when her relationship with Prince Harry was exposed, labeling her a “social climber” who is “not fit to be a royal”
During the conversation, a sobbing Meghan said to Oprah that the burden of her position as a royal had become so unbearable that she had considered suicide due to the strain she was under.
‘I didn’t want to be alive any more -this was a very real and frightening constant thought,’ she said.
