During a ‘special message’ delivered on her 40th birthday, Meghan Markle gave followers a rare look inside the Californian house she shares with Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex, who has decorated her office in a stylish neutral palette and accessorized it with a £1,240 Hermes blanket and provided a glimpse inside her study as she announced plans to invite 40 friends to contribute 40 minutes of their time to assist guide women returning to the workforce.

Meghan has a beautiful white quartz crystal placed against a stack of her children’s book, The Bench, on her massive wood desk, if you look closely.

The mother-of-two appeared via Zoom in the same room where she appeared briefly during her husband and Oprah Winfrey’s recent Apple TV mental health series, The Me You Don’t See.

White quartz is known as the ‘master healer,’ since it absorbs, regulates, and releases energy while also calming and stabilizing the surroundings.

Clear Quartz also aids in decision-making, focus, and positive thinking, making it an excellent choice for a home office.

The Duchess has long advocated for spiritual activities like as meditation and yoga, which her husband also enjoys, and has previously praised crystals for their therapeutic qualities.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have already announced that they have a crystal collection that is strewn around their Montecito house; eagle-eyed fans saw a celestine crystal in the backdrop during a conference call they had earlier this year.

The blue crystal is connected with heavenly power and is said to aid in meditation and prayer by increasing knowledge and developing awareness.

It comes after Prince Harry said that he has been utilizing alternative treatment to improve his mental health since relocating to the United States.

While the 36-year-old Duke is tackling his PTSD diagnosis with ‘tapping’ techniques and EMDR, his wife Meghan is already teaching their two-year-old son to self-healing.

Harry is likely to be utilizing EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique, to relieve anxiety, emotional, and physical discomfort by tapping on pressure points all over his body.

According to a source close to the couple, she uses reiki therapy on Archie, herself, and their dogs (Pula and Guy) to make them all “feel balanced and relaxed”

“Reiki is a Japanese form of ‘hands-on’ therapy, using healing energy (found in and around us) to ease stress, promote relaxation and provide pain relief. It’s completely safe and natural, balancing our life force energy called Ki. When our Ki is low, we’re out of balance physically, mentally and emotionally – this leads to disease,” said Liz Underwood, a reiki practitioner.

“To be a reiki practitioner like Meghan, you need to be open-minded and learn the different symbols (like power and harmony) used in healing sessions. I visualise these symbols imprinted into my hands and repeat their names to help that specific energy flow from myself to the client.”
