It has been revealed that Meghan Markle was deeply saddened after the Queen turned down her offer to live in a wing at Windsor Castle.

Harry was asked by the Duchess of Sussex whether he could convince Her Majesty to grant them private rooms in the residence.

Instead, the Queen offered the couple Frogmore Cottage, which is nearby.

“Meghan needed a wing at the 950 year old Windsor Castle,” a royal source said.

“She demanded that Harry speak with her. However, the Queen respectfully denied the request.

“Eventually, the castle will be given to Prince Charles.

“Harry and Meghan were originally happy with Frogmore Cottage, but it turned out to be the wrong fit for them, as they were cut off from the rest.”
